Beautiful Abby is back in our care through no fault of her own. She was adopted over four years ago and recently returned due to her adopter’s declining health and inability to continue caring for her.

When Abby was originally in the shelter, it took her some time to feel comfortable, and we know she will need the same patience and understanding in a new home. She would thrive in a calm, quiet environment with a cat-experienced adopter who understands that Abby will need time and space to come around at her own pace.

Abby would do best as the only pet. She does not get along with other cats and is not a fan of dogs. She also becomes easily stressed, so a household without children—or one without frequent visits from young kids—is important for her well-being.

Abby is a sweet and sensitive girl who just needs the right person to give her the peaceful forever home she deserves.
