It’s time for another spotlight!

Meet the beautiful She-Ra!

She-ra is an easy going, medium sized(51lb) sweet girl who loves to go for walks and take naps! (Best of both worlds).

She is full house trained and she is working on crate training with her foster family.

She is great with kids but would prefer to be the only dog in the house.

As of July 22, 2024, The requirements for taking a dog across the border to the United States is:

1. The dog must be 6 months old at the time of entry
2. The dog must appear healthy upon arrival
3. The dog must have a microchip that is detectable with a universal scanner for identification
4. A cdc dog import form must be filled out and receipt available

THIS INFORMATION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE SO PLEASE CONTINUE TO CHECK FOR UPDATES AS YOU NEAR YOUR TRAVEL DATE.

TO GET BACK INTO CANADA YOU WILL NEED YOUR RABIES CERTIFICATE.

Ticks! Yuck!

Because of the mild winter we had the tick population this year has grown quite a bit compared to other years and more and more people are finding them on their pets and even roaming in their backyards.

Nexgard Spectra is a product we carry that is really effective in the fight against ticks and keeping our pets happy and healthy.

Nexgard Spectra is a soft, tasty chew that owners should give their dogs once a month from the start of tick season until the end when the colder months come again. In order for the Spectra to kill the ticks, they must attach to the dog and have a blood meal. The blood that they consume contains the spectra that will kill the tick.

Nexgard Spectra not only kills ticks but also treats Heartworm, fleas, mites and intestinal worms.

This summer we will be participating in the Walk to End ALS. Now more than ever, the ALS community needs our support to provide hope and help to families affected by ALS/MND. That’s why we're joining thousands of others, a part of a passionate and motivated community to “walk” in celebration of hope and a world free of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Please consider supporting us and donating towards this important cause.

create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based support throughout Manitoba - like home visits and support groups – as well as necessary medical equipment like wheelchairs, liftchairs, mobility aids and other items that increase safety in the home, at no cost to those who need them.

This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS.
