Sometimes the best way to tune out the noise is to simply go silent and put in the work. I’d take 66 captures over 66 likes every day of the week 🔑

I have been struggling with the unfortunate effects of public negativity for about a year now, and have been off Facebook during that time.

Sgt. Boswell has done an awesome job keeping our page going and keeping you all apprised of information as it relates to the K9 program.

During this time I have found myself pulling further and further away from the public eye. I have done this for a couple of reasons.

1. I do not do what I do to get recognition. I do what I do because I love my job, my pup and the community I serve. I could only hear the noise from people saying I needed attention, which is the farthest thing from the truth.
2. People on social media can say whatever they want without fear of repercussions or being fact checked. I care about my reputation, my families reputation and my K9’s reputation and needed a break from the false narrative.

Most of you probably do not know K9 Cena and I have made tracking captures 61,62,63,64, 65, & 66 over the past few weeks. My wife said, “Why does Cena not get to be recognized for her good work.” I have been thinking about this.

After speaking with two people I highly respect, my wife Lisa and my K9 Mentor and president of American Society Of Canine Trainers International, Chris Aycock, I realized it’s not about me, it’s about our supporters and the pup’s fans.

I will return K9 Cena’s adventures to our K9 page along with Sgt. Boswell and Poe. I will do my best not to listen to the negative narrative and keep those of you who love our pups up to date on their day to day operations.

Thank you for your patience with me while I took some time away from the media side of the program.

A HUGE thank you to Sgt. Boswell & Poe and our financial supporters and fans!

Adam

Grateful for the opportunity to meet so many incredible individuals and dog teams. Friends of Rockford Police K-9 Unit

A few weeks back, Officer Fisher and K-9 Andii had the pleasure of meeting up with the folks from K9 Storm Inc who traveled to Rockford from Winnipeg, Canada.

With your support, we provide every team with a ballistic vest from K-9 Storm and credit their vest with saving K-9 Andii’s life the day she was shot.

Are you interested in helping us continue to provide the needed K-9 teams, training, and equipment to keep Rockford safe?

BREAKING: K9 Apache is SAVED from multiple stab wounds wearing his K9 Storm Patrol Swat Vest!!

At 2AM in Brazoria County, Texas, a domestic violence call turns deadly when a wanted man crashes on Highway 288 and disappears into the unforgiving brush.

With the suspect refusing to surrender and darkness cloaking the terrain, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office deploys their elite K9 team and drone unit, to go into the woods and get him…

Our 28-Point Precision Sizing Kit allows us to accurately chart your dog’s true measurements at 28 different locations on their body.

We don’t collect the data to simply ship out a small, medium, or large stock item.

Each K9 Storm Vest is built as a one-of-a-kind product using your dog’s specific measurements.

Drex from the Beaver Valley PD is a good example of the process in action.

Do this. Get that.

Lots of great people doing God’s work in this one ⬇️

Repost • We are incredibly grateful to the Catholic Charities of Central Texas – Brazos Valley Office for their generous support of our K-9 Unit.

Thanks to the coordination of Valerie Zimmerman and the compassion of their entire team, Catholic Charities of Central Texas graciously covered the full cost of a custom ballistic vest for K-9 Garo through the K-9 Krijger Ballistic Vest Campaign.

These specialized vests, made by K9 Storm, are custom-fit to each working dog and cost approximately $3,000. Through Spike’s K9 Fund — a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the training, care, and preservation of working dogs — K-9 Garo now has an additional layer of protection while serving our community.

You may remember Valerie and the Catholic Charities of Central Texas team as they previously donated Impact Crates for K-9’s Rico and Ciro, further demonstrating their incredible commitment to supporting local law enforcement and public safety.

Thank you, Catholic Charities of Central Texas – Brazos Valley Office, for your continued partnership and generosity. Your support truly makes a difference.

Born on the Streets - The K9 Storm Story

K9 Storm Inc. was founded in 1998 by former Winnipeg Police Canine Handler, Jim Slater, as a result of his work with his Police Service Dog, Olaf.

What started as one man’s need to protect his own police dog with a custom-fit ballistic vest, has turned into a mission to provide functional high-end dog gear to the world. K9 Storm Gear is currently being used by special forces teams, police agencies, and search & rescue groups in over 32 countries.

Now, for the first time ever, K9 Storm is opening the door to everyone. The same proven quality that is trusted by the world’s most skilled dogs is now available to the world’s most important…yours.

Welcome to the K9 Storm Family.
