🐾This is one of our new boys. We’ve named him Judge.

💙Judge came into care almost 2 weeks ago.
He has been kennelled in a room.

He’s been a little hissy so we wanted to let him adjust. He didn’t want to eat at first which is normal.
After a few days he was eating everything up!

Then things changed. He stopped eating. I’ve tried everything! Yesterday I noticed cold symptoms. So we took him to the vet immediately.

Karlie covered him with a blanket and scruffed him. He froze and we got him into the kennel. Karlie does the handling of the scared or hissy cats. Judge has only swatted at me once with no claws.

🏥 Judge has a few things wrong with him.
He was dehydrated which I knew, has tapeworm, upper respiratory and fleas!

💉 He received antibiotic injections. Negative for FIV/FELV. Treated for fleas. Fluids and spent the night in oxygen. Bloodwork was good.

Hopefully he will have a quick recovery ❤️‍🩹

🧾His vet bill came to just under $600 last night. We will find out if he needs anything else today.

😻Our little family❣️
Odyssey and her 2 gorgeous kittens. They turned 5️⃣ weeks yesterday!

They have been named by my granddaughter Selena.
🖤Black & white baby is Uno
🧡Orange baby is Dos

Both are boys 💙💙

❤️Huge THANK YOU to Leslie D for donating this awesome tall tiered kennel to us. The kittens love to climb! I’ve only added the one level because I don’t want them climbing too high.

😻These are Journey’s 4️⃣ kittens (Journey & 1️⃣ kitten are still in foster).

♥️The kittens are still a little scared so I make sure to touch them as much as I can. Especially when they are eating. They know they are safe. They just think I’m a weird human 😂 🐾 This litter was born outside.

🙀They escaped their kennel the other day (I guess I didn’t latch it) and were running around when we arrived. But we put them back. I want to work with them a little more.

😻Our beautiful white kitty, Cuddles❣️

🩷Cuddles is enjoying the inside life in a warm place, with comfy furniture to sleep on. She has an amazing foster. But she is looking for her forever home 🏡 With a family that won’t abandon her on the street like the last one did.

🐾This is just one cat we were able to help recently. She won’t be spending the cold winter outside. This is why fostering is so important.

😻Update on Major❣️

💙Major had his dental surgery last Wednesday and has been doing great❣️His appetite has been amazing! Including eating treats and hard food. That was fast! He only has 2 canine teeth left 🦷
I’m sure his mouth is feeling so much better.
It definitely looks better.

😻Yesterday the other two kittens were caught and brought into our vet. They have been vetted and joined their siblings in foster❣️All 5️⃣ have now spent their first night inside 🐾❤️

😻For those who don’t know, I have cats that are permanently in care. One is our deaf boy Mouse. 🤍Mouse hasn’t been feeling well so I took him to the vet on Friday. He has Pancreatitis and is spending the weekend at the vet for treatment. 🩺For those that know Mousey, you know he’s a super sweet boy. He loves visitors and wants to be everyone’s friend. But once at the vet he changed! He became very angry. He doesn’t like when any of the cats in the house go to the vet. And he growls at them for a few days. It’s the smells. And because he is deaf, I’m guessing it’s even stronger for him. 📹I’m sharing this video. I will post another one of “sweet” Mousey once he is back home and comfortable. I’ve never experienced a cat change so drastically. They had to sedate him to do tests! My poor Mousey. He is usually such a gentle boy.
