😻Huge THANK YOU to my family for helping with the Krispy Kreme fundraiser yesterday. And to Tamara Nikki for picking up donuts and staying to help out❣️

❤️And of course for all of those pre-orders. We appreciate the support ❤️

We sold almost 7️⃣0️⃣ dozen donuts and we donated to a few places.

We didn’t really know what to expect. I didn’t want to order too much. But we definitely could have sold more. So now we know lol.

Also it says online they provide banners but they did not. So here we were selling donuts out of the back of our car with a fastly made sign 😂 Not sure we looked legit 😂 But people purchased 🐾🩷

🐾Our 3️⃣rd vet appointment yesterday was our 8 year old boy Major.

🤎Major has been with us since 2020.
He has had issues with his gums in the past. And now he needs “major” dental surgery 🦷 He is currently on antibiotics and will have his surgery next week.

🤎Major eats and acts completely normal. But I’ve noticed his gums are very red. When we saw inside his mouth, his teeth are very bad. He will feel much better after his surgery.

2️⃣ dental surgeries within a week. Major’s surgery will be at minimum $1000 also.

We are also getting ready for another auction starting this Monday November 4️⃣th. We need to keep our vet bill down. If you have anything to donate, please message us.

I knew yesterday when I took the boys in that it would be dental for both. But I didn’t know how bad.

😺We had 3️⃣ vet appointments yesterday. Our second one was 🩶Bublé.

I’ve noticed when he is eating he will let out a cry. So I figured a tooth is bothering him. It was a little more than a tooth. He has an autoimmune disease. He has Stomatitis.

🩶Bublé is still young. He is less than two years old. Stomatitis is quite common though.

🩺He stayed the night at the vet and is having dental surgery this morning. Please send lots of love to him ♥️

🙀With his surgery and everything else involved, we are looking at a bill of $1000 possibly more.

😻This sweet girl has been outside for weeks. Eating from a food station. Finder thought she may be a cat allowed out to roam.

Her tattoo was traced and owner did not respond. This apparently isn’t the only cat they were trying to locate the owner for 😢

💔No one has been looking for this girl. She has been living an outside. Yesterday we finally got her into care!

🤍This is Cuddles (she knows her name so we are keeping it). She is approximately 5️⃣ years old and spayed.

🩺 Yesterday she had her vet exam. She’s a healthy girl. Vaccinations 💉(including rabies), dewormed, meds for ears and she is negative for FIV/FELV! She’s also very sweet.

🩷Cuddles has gone to foster with a friend of mine.

‼️FOSTERS NEEDED‼️

These 4️⃣ gorgeous kittens are living outside in a yard. They NEED to come in immediately. It’s too cold out for them🥶

🩷They may need some socializing although I believe mom is not feral. She showed up in a yard and had kittens.

They are currently being fed. Finder wants to keep mom. So she will be spayed and returned to them.

😻Just look at these faces. They are asking for help. We don’t have space for them at our facility. But we will provide everything for them. You just keep them safe and loved.

🐾Sweet Monica ♥️

The other day we notice her eye 👁️ was starting up again, after almost 3 months of being healed. She’s had absolutely no issues.

🥼We took her to the vet on Saturday. She was sedated to exam the eye thoroughly. And is back on eye drops. This should fix the problem hopefully. She also has a little bit of a kitty cold. But she doesn’t let that stop her 😺

I only have one foster ready to go.

🐾On Wednesday October 1️⃣6️⃣th Odyssey had 5️⃣ beautiful kittens🐾 But one was bleeding from his tummy. The others were connected by an umbilical cord. I do a lot of stuff, but I’m not ready to cut that cord myself. So we rushed them to Pembina emergency. 🏥 They were checked out. Mom and kittens were healthy.

We grabbed a kennel from our facility and took the family home. I made room in my office (You do what you gotta do without fosters. We did post but no one came forward). And got them settled.

I kept checking on mom and kittens every couple of hours. In the middle of the night I went in and one kitten was away from her. She was cold and had passed 💔 A couple of hours later another one wasn’t doing well. Wouldn’t latch onto mom. Starting to feel cold.

I warmed him on the heating pad and with my hands. I’ve held many dying cats and I know when they aren’t going to make it. And he wasn’t going to make it ❤️‍🩹

Last weekend I was feeling ready to post, when the calico kitten was starting to struggle. She would no longer latch onto mom. She wasn’t going to make it either. So after warming her and trying to get her to latch, I placed her with mom where she passed.

For the last week I have been monitoring them.
These are her two remaining gorgeous babies. They are always eating. And they are chunky little things! I love how fat they are❣️

💕I’m feeling confident that these two are doing great and they will make it. Although I know anything could happen at any time. Kittens can crash very quickly. I’m finally ready to share them with you.

💜Odyssey is a great mom. She’s eating so much! At our facility she was VERY picky. Odyssey is loving kitten food which we really could use some donations. We want her to keep those babies fat and healthy 😂

I will be posting more pictures. The babies are starting to open their eyes ♥️

It’s so hard losing some of them. They are just so precious. But I’m so happy these two are doing so well ♥️🐾♥️🐾

😻This is Greta 🐾

♥️Greta was on the streets with Odyssey. We aren’t sure if they are siblings or if this girl is a daughter of Odyssey’s. Finder Stacey took them both in 🏡

We picked up Greta last night and she spent the night at our facility. This morning I dropped her off for her spay 🏥

💜Greta is a little scared. She’s been in a few different places in the last 1️⃣2️⃣ hours and 2 car rides. Today she will not only be spayed but fully vetted 💉

😻For those who don’t know, I have cats that are permanently in care. One is our deaf boy Mouse. 🤍Mouse hasn’t been feeling well so I took him to the vet on Friday. He has Pancreatitis and is spending the weekend at the vet for treatment. 🩺For those that know Mousey, you know he’s a super sweet boy. He loves visitors and wants to be everyone’s friend. But once at the vet he changed! He became very angry. He doesn’t like when any of the cats in the house go to the vet. And he growls at them for a few days. It’s the smells. And because he is deaf, I’m guessing it’s even stronger for him. 📹I’m sharing this video. I will post another one of “sweet” Mousey once he is back home and comfortable. I’ve never experienced a cat change so drastically. They had to sedate him to do tests! My poor Mousey. He is usually such a gentle boy. 😻This is our new family that came into care❣️🩷Momma who I’ve named Harley Quinn, and her 6️⃣ little kittens. Vet has estimated her at 5+ years old from her teeth. She was dewormed, vaccinated💉 and tested negative for FIV/FELV!🐾Kittens are 5 weeks old. Have been dewormed. Still a little young to vaccinate. They will receive them soon. They are both overweight with Mike being a lot bigger. They are on a diet with us, not that I should even have to mention that. Obviously they both need to lose weight. 😻These are the first kitties rescued out of the 12. Mom and 4 kittens approximately 3-4 weeks old. Mom looks so much like Doja. This beautiful family came in Wednesday night and went to foster. They are doing amazing❣️Our foster has named momma Lucy.
