So tonight I got a 911 call out for a kitty that got himself into a little bit of trouble!!
Fishing lures do look quite similar to kitten toys, however this guy got to learn the hard way they aren’t as much fun!
The hook went through the pad of his paw and still had a tiny Barb on it.. luckily I had my medical tool box and was able to remove the hook.
He’s safe and healing now!! 💞🐾

Still decompressing and settling in well is a new little kitty family! I’d like to introduce you all to Mama “Mustard”, calico kitten girly, “Marmalade”, smoke boy kitten “Jelly-Bean”, and ginger boy “Rusty”
Absolutely adorable and doing well.

This adorable Blue Coon Hound cross is Ben!! He is such a good, focused boy. Even with all of the other dogs and distractions he stays so focused!! Ben is ready for his furever home!! If you may be interested in him, please contact us or Jack’s Animal Rescue for more information! 💞🐾

Been busy, busy, busy as always! Some updates and photos for everyone! 🐕Layla has been adopted and her new owner is keeping her name! 🐕Waylon has been adopted and his new name is Merlin! 🐈‍⬛Star has been adopted and her owner is keeping her name! 🍓🥒🥬🥕been at the Winnipeg beach farmers market on the weekends with some of the animals, getting them some exposure and hoping for some adoption applications! 🐈‍⬛Patch is preparing for her first big adventure tomorrow at the farmers market! 🐕Jasper is excited for the farmers market and is hoping he will be chosen to go to a furever home next! 🔩🛠️🛢️scrap has been steady and continual although the price is very low right now- we keep working hard! 🥩🥓The Meat Co. Fundraiser is underway for the month of August!! 🐣🦆Rescued and spent some time with a teeny-tiny ducking- we named Peeper! Peeper seemed to be healthy and happy, just all alone! We brought him to Pembina vet to take to Wildlife Haven!! 🐕‍🦺been working with some reactive dogs to help them and their owners. And more updates to come tomorrow!!! 💞🐾

Had such an awesome time at the Winnipeg Beach Farmers Market today!! Thanks for having us!! A big thanks to Jodie Fitzgerald for inviting us and helping us out with the pool to stay cool! And thanks to Sabrina Tomasi for giving up her Saturday to sit in the 30 degree heat with us!! The pups were on their best behaviour and soaked up all the love!!💕 🐾💞 can’t wait to go again!

Took Waylon on his very first walk!! 8 weeks old and did so well! No pulling, stayed nice and close, completed the whole walk happily. Then got to spend the day with Grandpaw (who I think is his favourite human). Was the best behaved boy all day, stayed in the yard, listened, snuggled, got spoiled with treats and love!! So proud of this little munchkin and his A+ attitude and behaviour on his first big outing. Waylon is available for adoption along with his siblings Layla and Jasper!
