Spirit of Hope Rescue

Spirit of Hope Rescue We are a volunteer run, foster based, non profit dog rescue that runs a low cost vaccination, spay/neuter, and food program for Indigenous communities.

SOHR was started in January of 2012 by Director Cathie Mieyette as a promise to herself that if she was to survive what was then a life saving stem cell transplant, she would start a rescue to assist First Nations communities with the overpopulation of dogs. Cathie is a four time cancer survivor. Since 2012, Cathie and her team at SOHR has rescued more than 4000 dogs.

❤️Hello everyone SOHR has 19 dogs that are available for adoption.

❤️ All of our foster dogs are in our own homes loved and trained by our families.

❤️ We kennel and house train and our own dogs help with all the training.

❤️ We take pride in the training we provide for our foster dogs.

❤️ We take our dogs to Puppy Therapy Days, Adoption Events and Yoga Days we socialize them a lot.

❤️ Once you adopt from us you are part of our SOHR Family and we have a SOHR Alumni page that all adopters can go and post pictures of their dogs and see the other dogs from their litters and sometimes the mom dog.

❤️ With our adoptions you get 3 DA2PP Vaccs, 3 Dewormers, 3 exams, a Rabies Vacc a spay or neuter, tattoo and 6 wks Petsecure Pet Insurance.

❤️ If you take an obedience or puppy manner class (4-6 wks) we refund you $50.00 and if you go to Sprockets and tell them it’s a SOHR dog they give you 10 0/0 off.

❤️ We have a certified trainer Cheryl Suggitt that works with our foster and alumni dogs.

❤️ If your interested in any of our dogs you can fill in an adoption application on our website and once approved we will set you up with a meet.
