WEC 5 was a great week for Reveille and then
she went home and rolled in as much muddy sand as possible....

Sadly HITS Ocala is closed a week early due to concerns over COVID-19. This year’s circuit has been action packed! Reveille was great and had some great ribbons throughout the season and West Indie was a superstar in the 3’ Green and Young Hunter divisions. Reveille finished her circuit with a nice win in the M+S NAL Adult Hunter Classic with an overall score of 168

Week 5 is in the books with Reveille picking up her first tri-color this year.
We were in good company this week with 18 other ‘Most experienced’ adults ......... now that is a tough crowd!
Ultimate II and I managed to pick up an 11th in the Low jumper Classic but I must say those 39 other teens and twenty-something’s go really really FAST!...... an even tougher crowd!
Next week we regroup and prepare for Weeks 7 and 8 so plenty of practising and some R+R if the weather is nice 👍

Week 2 at HITS Ocala is done and the horses were great!
Wallace was 4th in his first 1.10 class ever!! Got ribbons in the 1.0 classes as well.
Reveille was 5th in the Platinum Performance Hunter Prix and almost had to jump in the dark as the class didn't finish until 6:10pm!
West Indy is at the farm still practising, hoping it will be her turn to go to the horseshow soon!

Hello all...... we are in Ocala, FL getting prepared for HITS 2019 . It looks to be another exciting winter circuit with lots of competition from local, national and international competitors!

Sunny Manitoba has certainly been living up to her reputation! Perfect weekend weather again.....we have been fortunate that the heat wave has only been a few days long and the bugs have been decent. The horses are managing well considering yesterday had a humidex of 104F

The Cambridge Meadow Farms caravan returned home to Winnipeg on April 30th. Not really spring here yet but there are signs...... looking forward to a beautiful Manitoba summer and some fun MHJA horse shows. We have a couple of young horses just home from the trainer's so it will be interesting to watch them progress over the summer months.

The leaves are beginning to turn yellow and the morning air has a certain crispness to it..... if the hurricanes will stop threatening Florida I will feel so much better when I dream of rides in the warm winter sun! Must remember to tell the horses to only grow a skinny coat cause we will be leaving before it gets too cold!!

The countdown is on......the bus for Wpg leaves at 5:00am Sat morning and we are scurrying to get it packed! The horses meanwhile are soaking up the rays without a care....lol!
We work....they watch 😄

It has been a spectacularly nice fall in Winnipeg, MB, Canada and now we are looking southward to warm weather and horse shows in the sun........ we wish the best to all our fellow riders at home as we make our way towards our Florida destination.......happy holidays and happy New Years to all!!
