Carbon was originally cast for a background role, but the producers and director liked him so much that they moved him to a more featured role!

Moonshine works this week on a huge feature film! Watch this account, we have some really exciting roles coming up. Lots of Manitoba animals are getting cast for roles!

Manitoba Animal Actors Chai and Luna are out in Alberta working on a huge TV series for a whole month, then they come back to Manitoba to work on a major motion picture!

Some of our students are being short-listed for some exciting roles, and we will post about them soon!

I am looking for 3 corgis from the same family or 3 dogs that are familiar with each other for a big feature film!

Dogs must be comfortable with people petting them and busy environments. Looking for dogs that can sit stay on a seat in a vehicle together beside an actor.
Film date unknown at this time but somewhere between August and September.

Open to other similar type dogs if in 3, like Frenchies. Small dogs only.

Casting call for a grey donkey similar to this photo. 13-14 hands.

This is for a large feature film.

Donkey does not need to be broke to ride but does need to be very calm and quiet, easy going in new environments and comfortable going inside a building and hanging out in a stall.

Must be easy to load into trailer and easy to lead.

Manitoba Animal Actors Duke and Bruno, as well as Saskatchewan Animal Actor Marshall!!!

Marshall has already arrived in Manitoba and has met his costars Duke and Bruno. They are getting along great!

Filming starts this week. it's going to be an epic movie! Can't wait to share more details with you soon.

In the meantime, the dogs will be training at Dumbledogs. Tag us if you catch a glimpse of these famous movie stars!

Must be calmer, good with other dogs, children including babies and all types of people.

Swampy has been working this week on a feature film! Last week, he worked on a tv series.

For only being 1 year old, he is doing complicated behaviors in very busy distracting environments and nailing it in one take!

Swampy graduated from the Dumbledogs Animal Actor program, and we are excited to see his career unfold as a professional canine actor!

Looking for a real life, Garfield!
Do you have a cat with some extra fluff, big Tom cat cheeks?

Casting for a feature film a big orange Tom cat.

Local Winnipeg and area cats only.

Cat must be friendly with strangers and will need to be picked up by an actor.

Cat must be comfortable in all new environments (please send video of cat in different environments).

Cat must be willing to eat in new environments. (Will be eating on camera)

Cat will be staying with a trainer for a week during filming, so you have to be willing to part with your cat for a short time.

Your cat will be paid!

Cat must be up to date on vaccinations.

Hades was amazing his first day on set of a major feature film! What a sweet gentleman he is. Thank you Leesa from for trusting our team to take care of Hades on set.

Hades was discovered by a casting call, we have a private Facebook group for any graduates from our animal actor program at . Once your dog graduates from acting class you will be invited to our private group where we post casting calls. Your dog also gets added to our animal actor database.

Well done Hades! He has a few more days on this project as he is playing the lead dog role!
