Learn the basics of horse care and riding. All lessons take place indoors.
Horses can teach us empathy, build confidence, help improve our mental capacities to handle depression and anxiety, develop work ethic and help us feel closer to nature. This has been yet another year of adapting and changing to the circumstances life throws at us, and we couldn't have gotten through it without these amazing people in our lives! This is our first year running a sponsorship program, and we started it with a lot of hesitation. But with mounting vet and feed bills and unsure how to keep moving forward while we adapt to our new reality of high intereat rates and prices, this generosity has reminded us that we are here for a great reason, providing life changing experiences for youth and adults with horses. Hi there! 🐎🦄🤩
Meet Lena one of our OTTB lesson horses. She's one of our youngest schoolies and is proving to have a wonderful calm demeanor with people of all ages and abilities. Lena is excelling with our intermediate to advanced students wanting to pursue hunter-jumper goals. She's even been to several shows this past summer with @smt_equestrian and our show team students!
Lena is out on the track today enjoying the warm, foggy December weather.
