If you struggle with nervousness before your lesson, read this! 👉 You’re not alone - many riders experience those pre-ride jitters. But with the right routine, you can transform that nervous energy into focus and confidence!

Here’s a simple pre-lesson routine to calm your mind and set you up for success:

✅ 1. Take a moment for yourself - Set an intention for your lesson, whether it’s to focus on one specific skill or just enjoy the ride.
✅ 2. Positive visualization - Picture yourself succeeding in your lesson. Visualize smooth transitions, confident posture, and clear communication with your horse. Remember, confidence builds with every ride!
✅ 3. Gear check & grounding - As you prepare your gear, use this time to ground yourself. Adjust your helmet, check your tack, and take a moment to feel present. Small actions create a calm sense of readiness.
✅ 4. Trust your horse & yourself - You and your horse are a team. Trust in the bond you share and remember that it’s okay to not be perfect.
