Yellowbelly Batman! Update on the male from the 1.1 we hit, these guys look waaaay different from what a YB Batman would typically look like. I acquired one of if not the original Mosaic Line Clown that was found here in Canada a few years ago. The offspring that female has produced have been consistently busier, brighter, and just overall badass! We're still at the ground floor of this project and lots of work still needs to be done to figure out if this is in fact a line bred trait or if we have a gene hidden here that can be isolated. Super excited for its future. Also, no these aren't the same "Mosaic" as I've seen on MM from another breeder. This name and line has been around for almost a decade so unfortunately it's not my line to rename. IF we do isolate a gene then absolutely we'll consider it. We've done it again! Having some fun while we work on figuring out this project. We thought it was the same as Kahl's "Golden Pied" Line as the females origin made sense, but through this years breedings doesn't look like it's a line bred trait and looking more like a gene. I've never seen Pieds of this caliber and look forward to seeing what else it can do. Now we work on separating it from Pied (yes we have the "New Gene" Pied separated from OD and YB in the racks as well. Will need a new name eventually.
