As a veterinarian, Doctor Schock has dedicated her life to caring for animals in need. Today, she is taking that commitment one step further by giving this sweet rescue dog a forever home.

Wilma is from K9 Advocacy Rescue. She has been in our care since February 3rd when she was admitted to our hospital after being diagnosed with Parvovirus. Parvovirus is a tough battle, but so is Wilma! 💪🐶 This brave girl fought through one of the most aggressive and life-threatening viruses in dogs—and won!

Wilma’s journey wasn’t easy, but with dedicated medical care, lots of love, and her unbreakable spirit, she pulled through like a true warrior. Her story is a reminder that early intervention and proper treatment save lives!

The DA2PP vaccine is a core vaccine for dogs that protects against several serious and potentially fatal diseases. It is a combination vaccine that provides immunity against the following:
1. Distemper (D) – A highly contagious viral disease that affects the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems. It can be fatal, especially in puppies.
2. Adenovirus Type 2 (A2) – Protects against both Infectious Canine Hepatitis (Adenovirus Type 1) and Canine Infectious Tracheobronchitis (Adenovirus Type 2), which cause liver disease and respiratory issues, respectively.
3. Parvovirus (P) – A highly contagious and deadly virus that attacks the gastrointestinal system, causing severe vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration.
4. Parainfluenza (P) – A respiratory virus that contributes to kennel cough and can lead to pneumonia in severe cases.

CABB is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing safe, high-quality canine blood products to dogs in need. Whether it’s for surgeries, injuries, or illnesses, these donations save countless canine lives.

Who Can Be a Canine Hero?
To donate, dogs must:
• Be 1-8 years old
• Weigh 55 lbs (25 kg) or more
