Now the boys of the , Chip, Thor, Arthur, Finn & Max!

Aren't they a handsome crew? Red shows up in a few of the pups but Fiona has such strong genes!

Scout is M.I.A... his father has ghosted me because I wouldn't change my mind about breeding rights...every male dog does not need to do it "just one time". If everyone had that mentality the dog population would explode worse than it has 😳. Dogs aren't human , even if it feels like they are when they are your best friend.

Here are the girls today, Charley and Gadget are both leading full lives with their families. It tickles me pink to receive pics of such happy, well loved family members!

Unfortunately Gwen went to a home where the family has no interest in updating me or touching base. This is very disappointing to me ... hence the clause in my agreement of providing pictures and updates.

It is very important to me that I am able to get updates on my puppies, through them I learn about their welfare but I can also learn if there are any health issues that arise.

I guess some people feel once they buy a pup , it's theirs and they don't owe the breeder anything.

I've purchased dogs and been amazed that the breeder didn't want updates.

Not all breeders are equal.

4.5 years ago today, Fiona (x Red) delivered 9 little packages of JoY!
The was a big surprise ( little did I know Fiona would go on to continue to amaze me!).
The 6 handsome boys became Thor, Chip, Max, Arthur, Finn and Scout.
The 3 beautiful girls became Charley, Gadget and Gwen.

Clue Litter:

Baron Blue = Arthur

Duke of Green = Finn
Sir Yellow = Scout
Brother Orange = Thor

What a great combination of black and white and tri-colour puppies. Fiona was always an amazing Mum to her large broods.

Soya headed over to a farm on PEI. Although she seemed to have a bit of a rough start getting used to the goings ons , little people and strange noises I think she is doing really great now !

From Mum :

She definitely loves to be free, there is still no way I can get her in during the day , she only wants to come in at night. Soya loves playing with the kids outside . And she love her ball ⚽️ . She is timid of the mower or when the vacuum is on … and there are people she definitely has opinions about (maybe the smell cause it sound like is mostly dairy farmers she avoids).
Thank goodness she doesn't have to travel as the car is not her favorite place. But it's ok as she is free and she always stick around the house so it's perfect !
Otherwise Soya is an amazing girl!!

Next up is Niles! He lives with his family on a lake in NS Cottage Country ... not surprised to see him in the water! Stella Cate lives a full life , with her doting humans and older fur sibling Caper. She goes to daycare, spends a lot of time as a honorary Cape Bretoner! What a lucky gal!

From Mum:

Happy Third Birthday Stella, Stelly Belly, Jelly Stelly and Stella Bear!!


You bring so much joy to our lives, you are cuddly, kind, beautiful and simply loves her life. Stella loves going to the park with her sister, loves to chase after her ball (favourite toy in the world) and a nice swim at Shubie once the walk is done. She loves being home with her besties, Caper and Minnie (the cat who thinks she is a dog) Stella is fast, very intelligent and lets us know what she wants. She spends a lot of time in CB with her Dad, she absolutely loves it. At bedtime, she loves to roll onto her back and make happy growling sounds to wind down for the night. She truly is a gem and we couldn’t be happier to have her. Thank you, Sheila for being the best Breeder! Stella wishes all her siblings a Happy Birthday!

Tri-Coloured Sadie is always up to something in Tatamagouche it seems! It probably involves a stick or some water... she definitely is one happy girl!

From Dad:

Sadie plays with the kids in the preschool class regularly - tolerates a bunch of little hands patting her at the same time, and then does her best to fetch 30 sticks thrown from the beach side. She climbs a tree when her ball gets caught up in the branches. There is a pic of her friend's last birthday - we have not given her her cake yet today.

She gets hot playing and appreciates a puddle, and finds her own cat-like perch on the couch.

Sadie is very well behaved. She never wears a leash and is insulted that I have to put one on before going into a store. I explained that it is like wearing a tie to a fancy restaurant - just a dress code thing. She understands completely.

Today I was returning from the park and a dog groomer from Pugwash was parking. Sadie sat and stayed while this lady parked her car, then came back when she was stopped. She said "I am going to be embarrassed when I take my two dogs from the car because they are not NEARLY as well behaved." I reassured her that it was not me responsible, but the dog.

She is a beautiful animal!

Next up is Ike , who lives life grand with his 3 human siblings... who he cant wait to greet when they come home from school! Now he gets to spend days with Mum by himself...I think they enjoy each other's company!

From Mum:

Ike had another great year on the North Shore. He and his three kids are always busy exploring our field, pond and trails through the woods. If he's indoors, he's likely lying upside down somewhere or escorting the cats around the house. He's still very gentle with his toys and empties his basket daily, flinging them all over the livingroom. We can't believe he's three already! Happy Birthday to Ike and his 11 brothers and sisters ❤️🌻🐾
