The face behind the scissors ✂️

Hi! I’m Kandace! I was born and raised in Woodstock and stuck around! I began my grooming career in 2017 after attending a Co-op placement in high school. Growing up I knew I wanted to be in a career with animals. I have always been an active lover of our four-legged friends. And just gravitate to them. Over the years, I have advanced my knowledge and skills. By attending; continuing education workshops. Becoming Pet First Aid/ CPR, Fear Free Certified; which includes special handling course for our seniors, and nervous pets. My favourite part of the grooming experience isn’t just to create a calm loving environment for you and your pet. But to see the love and joy on your pets face when we reunite them with their owner, looking their best. As many of you may not know I am also a certified cat groomer. I find it a very rewarding experience and love to educate owners on having their cat regularly groomed.
On a more personal note. When I am not in the salon, I’m shifting into my Super Mom role. To a new mom of a 1 year old daughter. I am slowing coming back into the salon off my maternity leave and a “bonus mom” to my 4 year old step son. After a long day you can catch me relaxing on the sofa with my Golden retriever(Lila) and short hair cat(Hutch). I can’t wait to create new and old relationships again with all our clients. My books are now open and I am welcoming all clients back with open arms!
