The art of showmanship can feel daunting whether you’re just entering the show pen for the first time or the fifty-fifth time. It’s based on your ability to show your horse in nothing but a halter while being poised and confident all while completing patterns with smoothness and precision.

Both your and your horse's manners and handling skills are a reflection on the amount of time and effort you spend in practicing with your horse so what better way to brush up or polish those skills than with a quick clinic?

✦ Date: Saturday June 1st @ 9:00am and at 11:00am
✦ Cost: $50 per 1 1/2 hour session
✦ Location: 109 Roberts Island Road, Yarmouth

✦ Participants will be sent home with a booklet on showmanship as well as patterns to practice - patterns they can even do with their dog!

✦ Horses can be provided for the clinic at no extra cost but they are limited.

What an awesome two day achievement and fun event. A special thanks to those that participated and the many more behind the scenes that made this even possible. Also a thank you to Norma Graham and the ring crew, you guys rocked. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and look forward to seeing you at some of our other upcoming events.

What even is horsemanship?

Horsemanship is the art of riding, handling and training horses. Obvious enough. But have you ever wondered what it means or how it differs from what you already do?

Horsemanship requires patience, dedication, and an understanding of horses' behaviour. It involves learning to communicate with these majestic creatures through body language and subtle cues. Skilled horsemanship requires a rider guide the animal's direction, gait, and speed with maximum effectiveness and minimum efforts.

Over the course of this weekend our instructors will build upon the foundation you have already put into the relationship you have with horses to guide you to being the best horseperson you can be!

Cost: $150 ($50 deposit to hold your spot)
4 1hr rides over two days.
All levels welcome
Lunch provided.

Hauling In:
Can haul in Friday evening.
$25 Stall & Bedding fee for the weekend.

Need a Horse?
We have a very LIMITED number of lesson horses available for those looking to join in but don’t have a horse of their own. These horses are reserved only with a $50 deposit. This deposit will hold your spot and the horse.

Tis the season for clinic announcements! Here's our first one!

We're changing it up and offer our first Gymkhana clinic! Taylor Po***ck will be coming down to help riders of all levels work on setting them up for their best summer ever.

Dates: April 7 & 8 (Friday, Saturday)
Cost: $290 ($250 Border or Lease Rate)

This clinic will have four 1hr rides over the two days. Stall & Bedding provided. Lunch provided.
