Small Alberta, Canada, Rabbitry focusing on producing Quality Tans & Rhinelanders.🩵🐇 I am a small Rabbitry located around Drayton Valley, Alberta.

My main focus is to raise quality Rabbits that meet their breed standards. I want to better the breeds I am associated with, and work hard to breed the best of quality as I am able to and push hard. My stocks are ALL Pedigreed. The breeds I am focusing myself on are English Spots, and Champagne D’Argents. Please do not be afraid to send me a message for any inquiries you may have.

Anyone want a Dutch?😆

He’s cute, and has been shown. He has a leg, but he it was discovered that he has a split stop so if he is used in a Program- be sure to pay attention to stops. Other than that- he is a good quality buck for a program.

He’d make a great pet also. He was a Show pet here. He’s very friendly, and Dutch is a great breed for a starter pet, or new breeders/rabbit pet owners. I usually don’t pet out, but this guy deserves a chance.💛

I am going to be Granding her, and I am really hoping her one Doe I really like and the Judges really liked also turns out like her Mom.❤️

I really like her one buck as well, along with the Judges. But the Doe is definitely up there.❤️

Anise is a GORGEOUS Rhinelander, and I need to top her with my productions- so that’s a HUGE Goal and I hope her daughter looks as nice or BETTER than her!❤️

So I will keep on working on my Rhinelander lines!!
Very excited to keep moving forward with the Tans & Rhines, and restart my lines with my English Spots.☺️

Well, Farm Fair 2k24- that’s a wrap.🫰🏼

This weekend was a LOT. 37 rabbits. Will I ever do that again? Hm, probably not.☠️
It was a good and fun weekend, but I am exhausted. I was glad to see the girls, but it was also hard to spend time with them with being so busy between showing, caring for the rabbits, clerking, and taking care of myself on top of it.🤣

Farm Fair 2k24 is coming up very quickly. Rabbits are now all tattooed, and ready to go.💕

95% of the rabbits being shown under Lunar Moon this show are produced by me and I couldn’t be any prouder of how far I have come. I am extremely excited to see everyone, and watch my hard work on the tables. It was a tough road here, but I pulled through the last 5 years.🩷

Well, Cull day arrived but then it came time to the last boy which was my favourite boy out of the two and I starred at him LONG and HARD. I found myself carrying him back to the Shop, and hop into a pen.😬
I did not really want another Dutch, but looks like he’s staying. I own a Dutch again. Damnn you being cute.✨
Now, he needs a name.🤭🖤

I have lots to do before winter hits.🐰✨

• Dutch will no longer be a breed on this Acreage. I have 4 Dutch I would be willing to let go for FREE for the right fit. 2 Does, 2 Bucks for a NEW breeder or 4-H kids wanting to get into Showing & try.
🛑NO LONGER AVAILABLE.🛑

• New Zealand Reds will be a breed I will have around, but I won’t be pushing much with it. The kids, and John will be mainly focusing on it. I will be downsizing 95% of the litter I do have right now. I will be keeping 2 growouts for them to work with. If you want anything for a Meat Program ONLY, now is the time to speak up as I am planning a trip to the City soon to get rid of everything I do not need.

• All mismarked Rhinelanders will also be leaving. No sense in growing them out, and with Winter coming- I am only wanting to hold back what can be Shown. None as up for grabs, so do not ask.

• Tans are all sorted through. Tattooing will be the next step before Farm Fair along with other growouts who need tattooed. I have no Tans available as of right now.👌🏼

• Last but not least. One more litter of Rhinelanders is due September 29th, 2024. A nestbox will be going in tomorrow.🤭
PLUS, 4 arrivals will be arriving in approximately a month, and a bit. Lunar Moon will be strictly working on 3 Running Breeds, and I am very satisfied with finally finding what kind of breeds are for ME.😊

Well, it is confirmed- WE HAVE ALL 4 Varieties.✋🏼🥰. These Tan babies are so shiny, and still thriving. I cannot wait for them to grow more. Hoping there are some nice prospects to keep back. I’m hoping to keep 2 Does and a Buck if possible, but we’ll see what comes to this breeding pairing. Really hoping it was a great choice.👀💖 Lunar Moon Sage x RJ’s Liquorstore Blues.🩵

Tans.

Hungout with the rabbits tonight, which was very nice. Them jumping in and out of the box is my favourite!🥰 I have to clean pens once again. I swear these types of Cages last 2 days and they need cleaned out again. The trays definitely do not hold as much as stackers do. And it’s only ONE corner that the rabbits decide to do their business in so it becomes a mountain quick.😂😂✋🏼. I swear it’s the disadvantages of these when there is not litters in here. I usually have litters in the bigger ones but they’re occupied by a Nestbox instead. Definitely like my stacker holes better as the trays don’t fill up as quickly as there. I still love these Cages but, I cannot wait to have my litters in here again so the trays don’t need changing every 5 seconds.😂🥲

I could sit here, and watch them all day. Their little jumps at the end of the video is so freaking cute.🥰

Black Vinyl is…☠️

Black. Vinyl. Is. A. Nightmare. to. Work. With.👏🏼👏🏼. I had to use a Flashlight under the Vinyl to see the outline of where it cut. It was a HUGE pain in my butt, and it took me 2 hours to do.😪. I have to admit, I really love the Glitter Black, but it is soooo time consuming.☠️ Shoutout again to Danielle over at Wolf & The Hare- Arts & Crafts (I’ll tag her in the comments) for Designing the Rhinelander and Belgian Hare on this print out. Fun Fact: The Rhinelander is actually Anise, and The Belgian Hare is Grim (In Honor of him). She took photos of my favourite rabbits and drew them out for my silhouettes.😪😪💖💖

Rhinelander Does.

The Rhinelander Does, Anise and Poppy are finally out of quarantine and into their own spots. I just need to give them some feeders, and they’ll be good to go.🥰 Maple is in the basement to be monitored still as she lost a lot of condition during and after she was with me after transport. Since the Show this weekend, she has been eating a lot more & has been gaining slowly. Mixed some Calf Manna mixture into her food also so that also has been helping lots to keep boosting her weight.💖

Lela’s Stars Beans.

Lela’s Stars little Beans have doubled in size. Excited to watch these babies grow. Excited to see if the Blue is a Doe, and how they all grow as this is a new breeding. Our last breedings, and litters were 3 repeats of the same pairings.👀💖

They have been in with the girls for a little longer than planned but that’s OK. I’m 110% the girls took with the boys being in longer so fingers crossed for late Summer babes.🤞🏼✨💖
