AN UPDATE ON THE WIDDLEâS đ«¶
Once nameless tiny pups, our beloved 'Widdles' have found their identities and a new lease on life. Over the past few months, these little Chihuahuas have made a miraculous recovery at The Healing Centre.
Battling serious health issues from being over-medicated at a fragile age, Eddie, Daphne, Mabel, and Anna Elise have come a long way. Thanks to a regimen of detox and a nourishing diet featuring organic bone broth, these babies have slowly transformed into the lively and adorable pups they were meant to be.
With their fur regrown and their personalities shining through, they've blossomed into playful, curious, and irresistibly lovable pups, đ ready to bring joy and laughter to a loving home.

WHERE ARE THEY WEDNESDAY?
FT. HUDSON đŸ
Hudson, a wise senior dog, was a familiar face in the neighbourhood, often found resting outside the local Circle K. Despite the community's efforts to treat his persistent skin condition, there was little progress. His turning point came alongside the rescue of Aubrey, a small, hairless pedigree who was also in dire need.
Initially, Hudson was wary and elusive, requiring the expertise of professional dog catchers to bring him safely into our care. He underwent several weeks of intensive treatment for a stubborn fungal infection in the clinic before transitioning to a commercial boarding facility. It was there we uncovered another battle he faced: TVT, a sexually transmitted cancer. Isolated and cared for, Hudson began a 12-month journey of healing while The Healing Centre was being prepared for his arrival.
With time and love, Hudson underwent a remarkable metamorphosis đ« - both inside and out. Gone is the skittish street dog, replaced by a gentle giant with a love for human affection. He's embraced his newfound confidence and joy for life.
Currently enjoying the comforts of a temporary foster home, Hudson has shown a quirky disinterest in leash walks, preferring to amble leisurely at his own pace. His favourite pastime? Riding on the scooter! He's often spotted lounging next to it, content and ready for the next adventure to the shops.
Hudson's story isnât over just yet; he is still waiting to find a furâever home of his own. Could this be with you? đ

JOLLY JEFF đ
Whilst most of you are about to embark on the holiday season, animal rescue doesnât stop, and it never gets easier.
Jeff is ironically one of the âlucky onesâ considering his deplorable condition, but at least he has been saved. He is ravaged in a curable skin condition with severe head wounds, skeletal and a little hesitant, yet he still wags his tail.
Tonight, he is safe with us at The Healing Centre to continue his treatment.
With no adoptions this past month, yet countless requests for help, itâs simply unbearable. We canât save them all on our own. đ
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We urgently need to adopt our twenty-plus gorgeous, healthy and adoptable dogs. The overpopulation of animals in Bali is a community issue, and itâs only TOGETHER we can save them all!

A BALI BOY'S TALE OF TRANSâFURâMATION
đŸ Male
đŸ Bali Dog
đŸ 3 months
Norman's story began in a less-than-ideal setting. At only three months old, this beautiful Bali pup was confined to a small cage in a family compound, only experiencing brief moments of freedom when Bec, đ a kind visitor, came to feed him.
Recognising his need for a better life, we stepped in when the owners agreed to surrender him. With The Healing Centre partially operational, we saw the pawâfect opportunity to make Norman one of our first residents. From the moment he joined us, it was love at first sight. đ He is the sweetest young gentleman who adores human attention and is very eager to please.
Happy and healthy, Norman is not only soaking up all the affection he can get but is learning essential dog skills from his furry friends. He's still young, with an entire lifetime of adventures and love ahead of him. Now, Norman is ready for a furâever home. He needs you, and perhaps you need him, too. đ

NEW RESCUE
Please help us raise $1,500 for Julioâs leg surgery and rehabilitation.
This is Julio, also known as Max, Charlie and Bert - given to him by the multiple people who care for him.
Julio is a local street dog in Legian, Bali and is a regular customer at some of the local bars and restaurants.
This week, he was reported to us by a caring tourist and dog lover who noticed he was lame on his hind leg. Thankfully, Helen, who was on her way to dinner with friends, paused her plans to save Julio.
Quick thinking by, Helen, she secured Julio with a garbage bag as a makeshift leash and contacted our pet transporter to take him directly to our trusted vet.
Julio is suffering a severe break in his hind leg. He requires complex surgery to mend the break and have eight weeks of cage rest. Once he recovers, he will feel tip-top again.
Please help us fund his surgery and rehabilitation costs, which are $1,500. We have a specific fundraiser for Julio, so we can transparently see how much we can raise.

CASPERâS JOURNEY TO LOVE â€
Casper, affectionately known as Nucker, was found at a notorious dumping site in Ubud â a precarious spot on a steep hill, near a busy road and close to a river. Despite his confusion and the heavy traffic whizzing by, his tail was still wagging when he was found. That was the day his road to recovery began in the caring hands of Jullie. âš
His transâfurâmation journey was a long and challenging one. He arrived as skin and bone, with multiple large open and festering wounds and critical blood levels that left him prone to bruising and slow to heal. Through months of tender care, fraught with tense moments, he gradually grew into a stronger and bouncier little dog.
This mischievous pup had a spirit that wouldn't be caged, always looking for a playful escape. And where is he now? Right where he started â in Jullie's loving home. đ
The bond they've formed through his healing is one of those rare, indelible connections that only come from saving a life.
Now, Casper enjoys his days as the self-proclaimed 'king of the castle,' charming every visitor and convincing them he's always been royalty.
Transâfurâmations like this are only possible with your help. If youâre touched by Casperâs story, please consider donating at https://missionpawsible.org/support/
WHERE ARE THEY WEDNESDAY?
FT. HUJAN đŸ
Once upon a time, in a remote corner of Bali, a little soul named Hujan, which means "Rain" in Indonesian, was about to embark on a remarkable journey of rescue and recovery. đ
It all began when a group of kind tourists stumbled upon little Hujan and asked us for help. With a can-do attitude and a few tips and tricks from us, they fearlessly embraced the challenge ahead. Determined and unwavering, they returned to the very spot where they last saw her.
Amidst the falling raindrops, there she was, a fragile 2kg baby, huddled in the downpour. Someone had heartlessly abandoned her, đ leaving her to face the elements and the harsh world alone. Without their courageous effort, Hujan's fate would have been sealed.
For over four weeks, Hujan called the clinic home, as we lacked available fosters, and The Healing Centre was still under construction. With the tender care of dedicated hands, her scabies slowly healed - thanks to healing oil massages and a nutritious raw food diet tailored to nurse her back to health. All we can say is, Hujan's transâfurâmation âš was nothing short of miraculous.
Sweet, calm, and absolutely adorable, Hujan has now found her furâever home! She is so loved and cherished by her new family, and we couldnât have asked for a better hapâpawâly ever after. This is exactly how our community should work together to help change the lives of our four-legged friends in Bali - TOGETHER; WE CAN SAVE THEM ALL. đȘ

LETâS GO ON A RESCUE!
Please donate to Lacey at https://donorbox.org/lacey
This is a hard case to explain. Over six weeks ago, a dog was reported to us by a tourist. She was staying in a villa whose access was through a large family compound. She noticed a blind dog living in a small cage, drinking water from a paint tin. At the time, the dogâs cage was in a noisy, often toxic, commercial motorbike repair garage.
This case weighed heavily on our minds; we couldnât take another dog in without The Healing Centre being completed. Physically and emotionally, we were drained.
But this week, we were finally able to visit the dog and assess the situation.
What we were presented with when we attended the property was something we see far too often. People are confused and reluctant by our questions, not knowing and not wanting to help us with the situation. Thankfully, some young kids stepped in and ushered us to the back of the property, where we continued to search for Lacey. Like always, we were fearful of what we were going to find.
Finally, we heard barking and discovered Lacey. She was thankfully still alive but not living in ideal conditions.
What we can tell you is that Lacey was once a loved pet. She is calm, sweet and very gentle. However, she developed cataracts, which the owner tried to care for and treat with the help of a vet, but the costs of the surgery were too expensive.
Therefore, they felt a cage was the best solution. Why they put her out the back, isolated her and covered up the cage is something we will never understand. Lacey received very little attention and was never taken out of the cage â according to several people in the compound. What type of long-term solution is this for a helpless animal?
On the one hand, we acknowledge the attempt to care for Lacey with the intention of keeping her âsafeâ in a cage, away from the dangers of traffic or being lost, but on the other, we are baffled as to how people think this is
NONA IS READY FOR FURâEVER WITH YOU đĄ
Bursting into our lives in what we now know is true Nona style, this crazy little pocket rocket brightens up everyoneâs world.
We first discovered Nona wandering in our street. After some investigation, we were told by local neighbours that she belonged to them. đ Nona was well-fed, fluffy and healthy, so there was no cause for concern. However, fast forward two weeks to the next time we went to check on Nona; she was ravaged by a fungal skin infection. She had lost all her fur⊠and her bounce for life.
Prue, with her heart full of compassion, enquired if the owners had sought help from a vet. Unfortunately, their limited financial means made it an impossible choice. With heavy hearts and a nod to Nona's best interests, they made the courageous decision to surrender this little bundle of joy to us. And so, Nona (which means "Little Miss Indonesian") became a temporary part of Prue's furry family, embarking on her own transâfurâmation journey.
Unbeknownst to Prue, beneath that petite frame lay a character brimming with sass, quirks and a defiant attitude that is sure to make you chuckle. Nona also LOVES to use her voice - when she canât see you, she screams what we like to think is a love ballet to get your attention. đ
She is now all set to find her furâever home, where her antics and exuberance will surely light up someone else's world. Are you ready for a lifetime of laughter and love with this adorable, spirited pup?
TRUE LOVE IS A RESCUED PET đŸ
WHERE ARE THEY WEDNESDAY?
FT. WALTER đŸ
In the heart of a small village, a gentle soul named Walter found himself in the care of destiny. It was a concerned citizen's call that set the wheels of rescue into motion â and immediately, the team embarked on a mission to find this old boy, a mission driven by love and compassion.
With hearts full of hope, we scoured the village, but Walter remained elusive, earning himself the nickname đ âWhereâs Wallyâ. Undeterred, we left our number with several villagers who knew of the dog, praying for a miracle.
Over the course of a week, there were multiple sightings reported, whispers of Walter's presence. Yet, every time we drew close, he had moved on, leaving only traces of his existence. It seemed as if fate was playing a teasing game of hide and seek.
But then, just when hope was beginning to wane, Walter appeared, and we were able to get him straight to the clinic. There, he spent several weeks as we patiently waited for his severe scabies to heal. It was a journey of both physical and emotional recovery.
Once ready to leave the clinic, Walter found a new temporary home with Prue, where he was nurtured holistically. His diet, resembling a salad of grated beetroot, carrot, and spinach, was tailored to address his thyroid condition. It was a diet of love, complemented by fresh meats and supplements, each bite a step toward renewed strength.
As the days turned into months, đŸ Walter slowly but surely improved. His once-frail frame filled out, his coat grew, and his spirit soared. He revelled in every moment, cherishing the love and care that enveloped him.
Walter also found a special friend in Jullie, his chef and caretaker, who made sure every meal was a feast of flavours and affection. He spent his days sauntering in the warm embrace of the sun and exploring the vast expanse of land.
Yet, as it happens with all beings, time has its own course. Walter's health declined, and he crossed the rainbow bridge,
A MOMENT FOR MO đ«¶
Quite literally capturing a worldwide audience, Moâs story is one that is all too common in Bali. Destined to be another casualty of the barbaric dog meat trade, by some twist of fate, her life was spared after falling off the back of a scooter.
With her hind legs bound and mouth taped shut, Mo sought refuge in a drain for as long as two weeks. Battling the heat, rain and other outside elements, it is astonishing that she survived, especially with her snout in that condition and being unable to eat. As soon as we were alerted about Mo, we immediately sprang into action to help the rescuer get her to safety.
Despite all the odds, Moâs recovery can be described as nothing less than miraculous. đ She didnât just heal but thrived! Today, she lives a life most dogs could only dream of with her loving furâever pawârents.
We canât help but wonder if Moâs life was spared for a greater purpose. Maybe to raise awareness of the inhumane dog meat trade, or perhaps to remind us just how lucky we are to share our lives with these four-legged bundles of love.
Transâfurâmations like this are only possible with your help. If youâre touched by Moâs story, please consider donating at https://missionpawsible.org/support/

ADORABLE ABBEY đ
Rescued from a cemetery with her sister, little Abbey immediately stole our hearts!
Presumably dumped and riddled with a curable skin condition, Abbey and her sister joined the local stray dogs in the area in order to survive. Although they fit in, at only three months old and with medical needs, the streets were no place for two tiny pups.
Catching these bundles of cuteness was easy. Forget stranger danger đ«Ł â they were all about the kisses and bum wags. It was then off to the vet to start their transâfurâmation journey.
Now grown, healthy and ready to start her next chapter, Abbey has found her fur'ever home - and we couldn't be happier for her!

FT. ARCHIE đŸ
Archie was found amongst the bustling streets, hiding beneath a scooter for shelter and protection. When we say this poor boy was a living skeleton, we mean it. He was so severely malnourished that he could barely walk. He was terrified, nervous and cowered when people came near. We knew this lost soul needed urgent help, and a local vet was sent to assess the situation.
We are so thankful for the swift action of all involved, as we learnt that Archieâs owner had eaten his mother, and we were able to spare him from the same fate. We will never understand this type of cruelty, đ€ nor can we answer the inevitable questions in the comments of why someone would eat an extremely skinny dog.
But this next part is what youâve been waiting for â ARCHIEâS TRANSâFURâMATION!
From malnourishment, fear and an unimaginable fate no animal deserves, Archieâs journey toward hope, recovery, and love will bring you tears of joy. His foster family forged a connection with him, one they said couldnât be put into words, and decided that he was already home. Despite his horrific past, Archie has embraced his new life â a life filled with warmth, love, comfort, food and a place where he truly belongs.
These are the types of outcomes we can only dream of, and it is only possible with your help. If you are inspired by Archieâs story, đ please consider making a donation at https://missionpawsible.org/support/ so we can continue to save more lives like his.

FT. DEVI đŸ
Sophia and Marc's journey into the world of rescue began with a single heartfelt act of kindness. They reached out, not just with words but with unwavering determination, when they heard about a dog in desperate need. Their commitment to saving Devi was nothing short of remarkable.
Little did they know, as they gathered supplies and set out on a mission to find Devi, that this would become the beginning of a beautiful new chapter of their lives.
Seeing Devi for the first time, shaking, terrified and seeking refuge under a car to hide from a world that had been so cruel to her, was heartbreaking. Nevertheless, they approached her with tenderness, offering food and gentle coaxing, and patiently waited for her to emerge. The bond that formed in that moment would change all their lives forever. đ„č
Ravaged with a relentless yet curable skin condition, Devi was immediately taken to the vet to begin her healing journey. Her transâfurâmation from a fragile soul to the bouncy pup she is now can only be described as nothing short of miraculous.
Devi was initially considered for adoption, but fate had other plans. Sophia couldn't bear to part with the angelic Devi, and so began their inseparable journey together. Devi was not just a rescue; she was the catalyst that ignited a flame of compassion in their hearts. They embraced their role as champions of the voiceless, becoming an integral part of our Su'Pawt Squad.
