ides flexible training opportunities. Additionally, AO VET faculty is required to complete periodic educator programs that help them more effectively deliver educational content. AO VET is the voice and professional resource for individuals working in the field of veterinary orthopedic trauma and reconstruction as well as musculoskeletal disorders. As the only worldwide academic community in veterinary medicine that delivers innovative educational and research opportunities, AO VET created a membership to give veterinarians a core group of individuals with whom to communicate, not only to solve clinical problems, but also to enhance their training and career. Today's ✨ ✨ takes us back 64 years to the inaugural AO Davos Course. It was a pivotal moment in the history of trauma surgery, with 69 surgeons coming together to learn new techniques. 🎓

Led by two of the AO's founders, Maurice Müller👨🏻‍⚕️ and Martin Allgöwer 👨🏻‍⚕️, the AO's Laboratory for Experimental Surgery organized this four-day course in 1960. Interesting fact: participants were only able to purchase instrument sets after completing the training. 💼

Year after year, the AO Davos Courses have continued to grow, welcoming rising numbers of participants from around the globe. With a staggering 67,500 participants trained to date, the AO Davos Courses continue to leave a lasting impact in the field of surgery. 👏
