In July 2014 I visited a shelter we were going to offer to just foster a long term resident for the summer we failed and ended up bringing him home. While we were there for the whole summer my children and I visited every day to help walk the dogs whilst taking Bernie out it was a great experience for all. Since having Bernie I have started to study Canine psychology and continue to visit the shelter Akira whenever we are in Spain. I have started to make these jumpers in order to raise money to buy additional toys and other essentials for Akira as I want to help as much as possible.
