Happy New Year!

The team at Furry Friends hope you all had a great break.

Dexter and Riley certainly enjoyed the time off, spending all day sleeping (and then all night partying). Here’s a video of Riley enjoying an afternoon nap.

We do have an important announcement coming up in the next few weeks so keep an eye out.

I also would like to apologise for the lack of photos recently. Last September was a bad month for my digital devices with my DSLR suffering a catastrophic lens failure, then a spate of smashed phone screens which resulted in my new phone remaining firmly placed in my pocket. I also took a social media vacation when I realised it was starting to rule my life. I deleted the app off my phone and it was quite liberating, but startling how much time I was spending each day just scrolling through posts.

Despite the lack of evidence we have still been enjoying the local area and going on epic adventures in the mountains and forests. Hopefully my new phone case will help and I will be able to starting taking the odd photo or video again!

Yesterday we had Finn over and he brought his friend Felix with him. Headed down to the river for our walk as it was nice and shady but best of all - cool. Everyone enjoyed splashing around in the water.

I was trying to work out how there was so much mud in the house, then I saw these two...

Invested in a doggy paddling pool in the hope that I won’t have to jump in the big pool every Tuesday and Thursday morning to remove Coco. Looks like the plan worked!

Coco’s really starting to get the hang of swimming in the pool now, she even demanded to get in by sitting at the base barking. So this is how we spent the afternoon at Furry friends, me throwing the shark ball and Coco swimming to fetch it.

Today we headed up La Dole for a walk in the long wet grass. Everyone gets super excited as we start the drive up the mountain so it’s windows down and heads out! Dexter is much better and back to normal walks so he joined Finn and Tonks with camera duty.
