We had to redesign the “smart” pet door concept to ensure the tech works with animals in mind, starting with the point of access and interaction. Gone are the harmful and dangerous mechanical operations and in comes the use of modern AI technology.

The biggest complaint we hear from families with electronic pet doors is the malfunctioning and cumbersomeness of the access collar. So we set out to redesign how access is performed. Our solution was to employ visual recognition technology based on the appearance data of your specific cat or dog so that they can be quickly identified by the door. Your pet simply approaches the Smart Door and the door opens. Conversely, if a snake, racoon, or other neighborhood animal tries approaching the entrance, the sensors will keep the door locked tight to deny the nuincance entry to your home.
