So proud of our LATIGO K9 Junior Handlers!! Our collective group of 4th - 9th graders have three rescue puppies and one 'old dog learning new tricks' and special guests from our facility dropping by to test their obedience skills with younger handlers. Besides learning the basics of obedience training and light triage care, these young handlers are finding out that it's so much more about the handler than it is about the dog and when they believe in themselves their dog feels that same confidence... It's amazing to watch these four young K9 teams become tighter and tighter with each class. Hats off to La Paz Community School for encouraging us to offer this class as part of their after school enrichment program. Strong.Loyal.Stable www.latigok9.com

Skye was skinny, anemic and homeless in Playas Del Cocos... it took the rescuer 5 days to earn Skye's trust.
Skye became an official LATIGO K9 family member in April and is proving to be supernatural at tracking, agility, climbing, jumping, playing and making people smile wherever this goofball girl goes!
Why she would ever have been abandoned, we have yet to figure out.
Please don't give up on your relationship with your dog. We can help you be the handler your dog needs you to be.

The LATIGO K9 sponsored La Paz Charity Dog Show was a great success! Thanks to all the dogs and humans that participated in the show and the spectators that cheered them on!
We had a couple of adoptions for Homeless & Helpless, hit our fundraising goal and had a blast showing off our dogs and their silly, fun-loving humans.
Special shout out to our La Paz Junior Handler Club for sweeping up half of the first place prizes!!
