URGENT! PLEASE SHARE! Little Carlos Needs a Home or Temporary Foster! Carlos was living on the streets of Guadalupe de Rivas, and we saw him nearly hit by a car twice in just one hour during our spay and neuter clinic 😬. One of his hind legs is already broken, and he walks on three legs, so we took him in before it was too late. We’re so glad we did! ABOUT CARLITOS: This sweet senior is small (6 kg / 13 lbs), super friendly, and playful with other dogs, despite his age and injury. He loves his fluffy dog bed and is always full of joy! We've dewormed, vaccinated, and treated him for fleas and ticks. He’s even had a dental cleaning, with some bad teeth removed, so he’s feeling much better. Next week, we’ll do X-rays to determine if his broken leg should be amputated, as it’s an old injury that has already healed incorrectly. But we urgently need a foster or forever home! His current foster can’t keep him much longer due to travel. Carlos is easygoing, affectionate, and ready for a safe and happy home. Meet Max and Ziggy Breed: Rottweiler cross Estimated age 9 weeks. Ziggy 2.6kg FEMALE Max 2.2kg MALE Treated for fleas, ticks, worms. Tested for ringworm, parvo, Guardia Had First puppy vaccination - booster due Oct 16th 📍Fostered in Matapalo (near Domi) These two babies were found being abandoned and neglected by the beach. They were frightened, listless, dehydrated and very hungry. Both had skin infections caused by fleas but their fur is growing back nicely and the lesions are getting less every day. 🙏🏼 They have quickly responded to food and love and seem to have totally forgotten their rough start. 🙏🏼 Max and his sister Ziggy spend all day every day in a cycle of play, eat, sleep repeat. The 10 year old son of the foster family is super excited to have them around, so they get plenty of kid action as well as love. Clare, the foster mum tells us that potty training is going really well, they are starting to come when they are called. They both love cuddles, Ziggy likes to try to sleep on human feet or in a warm lap whenever she can. She has the most beautiful face. Our Beagle Mix puppies are ready for you!!!

Lucy and Benny, our little Beagle mix puppies, have been spayed/neutered and completely up to date on all their vaccinations! They were born January 31st and have been in à foster home with mum Uma ever since. (The two adult dogs in the video are not mum and dad!) Lucy is the smallest, with wire hair and a long body and the cutest short legs. We estimate her adult weight to be around 8-10 kilos. Benny is a little bigger, has long legs and a proper Beagle statue. He will probably grow to be around 12-15 kg. Both puppies are very playful and social 🌸. We finally found a foster home for mom and puppy! YAY! The momma dog, who we named Penny, was tied in the dirt to a motorcycle, right next to a chained non-stop barking pit bull, and had to care for her puppy under very difficult and stressful circumstances. Thanks to Sami-Te, who agreed to take Penny and her little puppy in, we were able to get them out of there. 🙌🏼 So yesterday, during a heavy thunderstorm, we picked up both girls and brought them to Sami-Te’s warm home. Scout, the little pup, was the first to come out of the crate, but Penny was very wary of the new situation and so shy… It took forever for her to finally come out of the crate. But after a few rounds of hand feeding, Penny slowly warmed up and eventually sat on Sami-te’s lap. 🙏🏼 This morning Penny and Scout started playing with each other and we are so happy to see that!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Soon the two ladies will be up for adoption! Foster home needed 🙏🏼

Hello community! This is an urgent appeal! We need a foster home for this small size mama dog and her 6 week old puppy in Pérez Zeledon. Mum is starving and currently tied up on a motorcycle in the dirt. The petit mama weighs only 10 pounds and the 6 week old puppy girl about 3 pounds. We have already had them vet checked and dewormed. The mother and her puppy now need a safe place to land until they are ready for adoption. Something else that happened this week is a real miracle...Do you remember that 2 weeks ago we asked for help because we needed a foster home for Nadia who was unable to walk in a drainage pipe?All the tests the vet had done were inconclusive (apart from a slight anaemia probably caused by starvation) and the x-rays showed nothing either.Fortunately, our best man at Charlie's Angels, Don Licho, and his partner Doña Thais agreed to look after Nadia and practise walking with her every day. Nothing happened on the first few days, Nadia continued to crawl on all fours and we had almost lost hope...But then, 3 days ago... THAT HAPPENED!!! When we saw the first video of Nadia sitting, we had tears in our eyes. She is now even standing up on her own, walking unassisted and going longer distances.We will continue with the steroids for a little longer and keep giving her good food (including chicken liver) and above all lots of love and care!Even the vets are completely astonished by Nadia's remarkable recovery! None of us would have thought it would happen so quickly. You GO NADIA!!! Thank you Thais and Licho, you are fantastic!!!
