In light of the extraordinary circumstances were are living in, Dr. John would like to ask all clients to take the proper precautions when visiting the clinic (for example, mask). We will continue to operate as normal, but if your pet can wait (for example, inoculations and such), it is best that we see you at a later date. Thank you for your understanding.

Cyprus has a high number of cases of dogs with leishmaniosis disease. At the moment there is no cure for this disease. The problems associated with this disease are hair loss, weight loss, skin sores, anemia, arthritis and sever kidney failure. This can be very upsetting for both you and your dog and the treatments can sometimes become costly.
Luckily you can vaccinate your dog against the disease. If you haven't already please consider vaccinating your dog.

Sometimes we know situations make our animals feel stressed or out of their comfort zone. This can be especially true when traveling. We now offer the Adaptil constant comfort dog collar. It offers comfort for your dog indoors and out.
We also have Feliway products available for giving comfort to cats. If you would like to know more about how these products can help your pet just call into the clinic, we will be happy to help you.

Its getting hot, hot,hot! Make sure your pets have access to water & shade. Never leave them in the car not even with the windows down for a few minutes.
Check the temperature of the tarmac before going for walks. If it is too hot for your bare feet it is too hot for your dogs paws.
