As a dog trainer & dog behaviourist i strive to teach my clients how to empathize & understand their dog so they can have a more harmonious relationship and happier life together! Whether you have a young pup, older dog or a rescue, Gaia's training classes can help them learn how to behave appropriately at home and on-the-go. Training can occur indoors and outdoors, depending on the dogs needs.

No matter the breed, let dogs keep the ears nature gave them. Their beauty is already perfect.

Cropping a dog’s ears isn’t “tough,” it’s cruel. Dogs use their ears to communicate joy, fear, and love. When we cut them, we take away a piece of who they are.
Pit bulls, Dobermans, Boxers, Great Danes, Cane Corsos and the list goes on. Ear cropping is a painful surgery done only for looks, not health.

Meet Alex, our 8 months Golden mix pup who right now is in the adolescent phase. This is when our sweet pups start testing limits, pushing buttons, and pretending they’ve never heard “sit” in their life. 🙈

But here’s the truth, this is normal, this is necessary and this is where real training matters most.

✅ We’re working on:
– Consistency in commands
– Respecting boundaries (even the invisible ones!)
– Channeling energy into focus and fun
– Reinforcing the relationship over the rebellion

This isn’t the “naughty” stage, it’s the learning who I am stage. And it’s one of my favorite parts of the journey ❤️

This is possibly one of the most prolific myths about pit bull-type dogs. The truth is lock jaw in pit bull-type dogs, or any breed or mix of dog, simply does NOT exist. No dog breed has a jaw structure that acts like a locking mechanism.

Don't believe the myths, these dogs are incredible, loving creatures who want nothing more than to give love and be loved in return.

Eva is a very energetic Mini Schnauzer only 1.5 years old. Her owners struggle with her being territorial in the house and barking a lot.

Her energy is a gift & with the right direction, it’s becoming her greatest strength. This type of training needs patience and consistency so we can build trust, structure and faster learning.

Through structured play, calm leadership, and clear communication, Eva is learning that her job isn’t to protect the home but to enjoy it.
