IN PETS WE TRUST

It all comes to that.Their never ending trust to us.That no matter what we will be there for them.Even if that means sacrificing our time our extra money that we are trying to save for our getaway, our sleep for all those mornings that they jump on our beds or that ppppprrrrr and meowing that takes all the stress away...that wagging tail that says i trust you no matter where we are going....An old saying says feed a dog for three days and he will remember you for a life time.Feed a human for three years and he will forget you in three days. When i was an owner of my Labrador (or mostly she owned me) i found it difficult to trust her even among family members. It felt that i was leaving my child and all those days being away all that i felt was guilt of leaving her behind.Without our play time our walks and being away from her favourite spot in the house.

When i moved to U.K for the past few years i found my self in the need to do something more of just being in the food industry (its been more than 15 years).I know all about peoples needs when it comes to dining and having a good time. What i noticed was how easy was for dog owners to move around with their loved ones.In the bus,the train, even it hotel stays.Slowly slowly starting with the neighbours and colleagues i became their dog walker and in house sitter and at the beginning i was so surprised that nobody was behind me ready to yell for just walking in the park(if you live in Cyprus you know what i mean). And yes dogs were allowed at the parks and more and if you were a good owner you had no worries at all....

Returning back to Cyprus two kitties won my heart. But the hard part was when i had to leave from Cyprus for a few days.Trusting them to a neighbour wasnt easy(but i still didnt know a lot of people in Limassol ) but i prefered them staying at home instead of a kennel. Uppon my return i found a mess,no clean litters, food all over the floor, things that a cat owner as well you thought she would do.I was happy cause i was gone only for 5 days and i promised my self that i would never allow this to happen again.By time passing by i found my self needing to do something as well for people in my situation. Wasnt easy to gain peoples trust, especially starting from zero in a city between strangers but i believe that good things spread by heart...You feel safe when somebody makes you feel safe and at the and of the day as i said is all about trust. For pets and their humans.
