𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 🐾

Sweet-natured 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘆 (𝟲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱) had a little outing today — a vet check followed by a relaxing visit to a local coffee shop — and we couldn’t be prouder of how calm, sociable and well-behaved he was every step of the way.

His foster mum described him perfectly:
✨ “Smokey was soooooooooooooooo good! Everyone made a fuss of him and he wanted to say hello to every dog. He walked beautifully on his lead and settled so well at the café. He was curious, calm, and just lovely.”

He even had a friendly meet-and-greet with a Segugio while waiting at the vet, and made a brilliant impression. Despite it being a totally new setting, he soaked up the attention and remained relaxed and easy-going throughout.

Luna has known pain no puppy should ever face. She was just a few months old when she was hit by a car, left with broken bones in both her front and back legs.

She shouldn’t have survived — but she did. And today, she has healed beautifully. She walks, she plays, and she dreams of the simple thing every dog deserves: a home where she is loved.

Luna is gentle, soft, and kind. She loves the company of other dogs, enjoys her walks, and adores quiet moments of affection. She doesn’t ask for much — just someone steady, someone patient, someone who will never let her down again.

𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘆 & 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝟲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 🐾
We honestly thought they’d be snapped up by now… but here they are — two amazing pups still searching for their forever homes.

🧸 𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗬 is calm, thoughtful, and loves his own space. Toy-obsessed and a little shy, he enjoys belly rubs, ear scratches, and curling up with his favourite teddy. He needs to be the only dog in the home while he gains confidence — but with people, he’s gentle and affectionate.

🧠 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗧 is full of bounce and joy — but don’t be fooled, he’s smart too. He’s already picking up basic commands after just a couple of tries and has even learned to push a button to ask for treats.
This boy is clever, cuddly, and confident — the perfect sidekick for a fun and engaged home.

They were rescued as strays after their mum was tragically killed in a road accident, and they’ve been growing up in foster care ever since.

Now almost 6 months old, they’re fully vet checked, travel ready, and looking for a place to call home.

🥺 It’s a sad and disheartening reality that Machos (AKA Mack) has spent over two years, nearly three, in kennels waiting for a family.

Found in the cold and wet winter of 2022, malnourished and battling disease, Mack fought his way back to health. Today he’s strong, playful, and full of love — yet still behind kennel bars.

✨ Friendly, affectionate, loves people and dogs
✨ Energetic but gentle, always ready for cuddles
✨ Healthy, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped

A sad and disappointing update on Biscuit’s adoption. Unfortunately after just a few days, through no fault of Biscuit’s, we now have to look for a new family for Biscuit. He is safe in foster in the UK for now.

** update - Thank you all for your love for Biscuit. He is such a wonderful dog. We have a few applications for him that I will go through. For now I have closed applications while we review them xx

Poor beautiful Biscuit, his home in the UK has fallen through 😬 he just can’t catch a break 😔

Biscuit will be coming to me today in emergency foster in South Bristol.

I will update his info based on how he gets on with us but we’ll be looking for another foster or his forever home as soon as possible (before we fall in love and can’t let him go 🤪)

Biscuit is 3.5 years old and is small to medium sized.

I met him on Sunday and he is adorable 🥰

With his sleek hound frame, glossy coat, and deep soulful eyes, Dio is every bit as stunning as he is sensitive. He was found as a stray, and while life left him a little unsure, he’s blossoming into a loyal and gentle companion.

At first glance, Dio can seem shy. He often hangs back, watching quietly until he feels safe enough to approach. But once he decides you’re a friend, he shows his true nature — gently touching your hand with his nose for fuss, curling up nearby, and enjoying the comfort of your company. He really does love to be close once that bond is formed.

Dio sometimes shows his nerves by gently growling at people from a distance when he feels unsure — especially around younger children. This isn’t aggression, but simply his way of asking for space. In fact, he can go from hanging back and growling to curling up beside you for cuddles once he feels safe. Because of this, we feel he will do best in an adult-only home, or with calm, older, dog-savvy teenagers.

He isn’t a high-energy dog and loves his naps, but he will thrive with regular walks, gentle guidance, and a calm home that lets him build confidence at his own pace. He’s also learning to feel secure when left in a crate for short periods, but ideally he would suit an older adult or couple who aren’t out for long stretches.

Look at our Leo! How amazing to see this from Saving Souls Animal Rescue who helped us to find Leo such a wonderful home.

I hardly ever get to meet the adopters and the dogs that I help, but Saturday was a very special day 🥰 ….Heather brought Saved Soul Leo on the train and bus to meet us at West End Woofs 🥰

Heather adopted Leo a couple of months ago and he’s been getting on fabulously! They are a perfect match! Leo is such a gentle soul, I loved meeting him. I’m sure if he was up for adoption there would be a few wanting to take him home that day 😉

Leo has had a hard life having been found with a broken leg. He’d obviously been cared for in the past as he was neutered. He has been rehabilitated in Cyprus and we found him a home after he’d waited for 2 years in rescue.

Saturday was such a wonderful day at West End Woofs, such positivity and promise, which we don’t always feel when we are drowning in dogs to promote.

Thank you to Heather for making the journey to Covent Garden and for bringing Leo to meet us and flying the flag for our charity 🙏❤️

He’s the bigger of the two brothers, and he wears the role well: bold, confident, goofy, and absolutely brimming with joy. From the minute you meet him, Bandit’s all in — tail wagging, ears flopping, and heart wide open.

He’s the kind of pup who will happily clamber onto your lap for cuddles… only to bounce off again 30 seconds later for another round of zoomies. A bit of a showman, a total lovebug, and always planning his next move.
