Ace marches to the beat of his own drum.

Ace is around 5 months old and looks nothing like his siblings — short legs, thick fur, and a permanently thoughtful expression.

He took a little time to trust, but belly rubs won him over. Ace is a thinker. You’ll often find him sitting quietly, watching his siblings zoom around like he’s observing a documentary.

Then, when the mood hits, those little legs suddenly spring into action.

Living with Ace looks like:
– A thoughtful, curious pup
– Surprise bursts of energy
– A walking teddy bear with character

Those eyes.
That confidence.
That lap-seeking determination.

Argo is around 5 months old and one of the most confident pups of the group.

He trusted quickly and settled fast, and now he knows exactly what he likes — being close to his humans. If you sit down, Argo will find a way onto your lap, whether invited or not.

He has a habit of gently pulling your sleeve if the massage stops before he’s ready. Subtle but effective.

Living with Argo means:
– A confident, affectionate companion
– A professional lap occupier
– A puppy who knows what he wants

Archie is joy on long, gangly legs.

Archie is around 5 months old and has been confident and people-loving from day one.

He’s one of the first to offer himself up for fuss, cuddles, and attention — and he never feels like he’s had quite enough. Watching him lollop around the foster pen on those legs is endlessly entertaining.

After zoomies with his siblings, Archie’s first instinct is to come straight back for affection. Human attention is his favourite thing.

Living with Archie means:
– A happy, affectionate companion
– A pup who loves interaction
– Endless smiles from his antics

Archie is the kind of puppy who makes a house feel alive.

AICO

Aico didn’t trust straight away.
Now he loves with his whole heart.

Aico is around 5 months old and is already stealing hearts with those incredible ears and his little Gromit-like face.

When he first arrived, Aico was shy and watchful.
It took him a few days to fully trust — but once he did, he was all in.

He adores cuddles, gently pats your arm when he wants attention, and buries his head into your chest for long, uninterrupted belly rubs. He bonds deeply and chooses his people carefully — and then completely.

Living with Aico looks like:
– A loyal little shadow
– Calm affection over chaos
– A puppy who wants closeness and reassurance

𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝗽𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀.
𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

These pups have spent the last few weeks settling into their new foster home with the wonderful Joanne Kane Pays, where they’re growing into confident, happy little characters.
They’re now ready to start looking for their forever homes.

𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗲: around 𝟱 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱

A quick bit of context.
Five are from the same litter, found abandoned as newborns and hand-reared from day one.
Kingston came from a separate litter, also dumped and rescued young.

They’ve all grown up safe, loved, and well socialised.

Now let us introduce them properly 👇

🐾 Aico
The shy-softie. Once he trusts you, he’s all cuddles and belly rubs.

🐾 Argo
Confident and affectionate. If you sit down, expect a lap visitor.

🐾 Ace
Short legs, big brain. A quiet observer with surprise zoomies.

🐾 Archie
People-loving and joyful. Long legs, endless enthusiasm.

🐾 Alva
The only girl. The smallest. Very much in charge.

🐾 Kingston
Fearless, fun, and affectionate. Usually found on a lap.

🎄Merry Christmas from all of us at Elysium Animal Rescue – Cyprus.

I want to start by saying thank you. Truly.
Your support this year has meant everything.

I also want to be honest with you.
I’ve been dealing with ongoing ill health and haven’t been able to be online as much as usual. That’s why updates have been quieter than normal. Many others have still been working very hard behind the scenes, and I hope the new year brings better health for me so I can get back to sharing more updates with you again.

When our online presence drops, donations do too. That’s been hard for us.
Regular monthly donations make a real difference, especially during quieter periods. They help us cover boarding kennel fees and make sure every dog in our care gets the treatment and support they need, not only the most urgent cases.

If you’re able to support us, please know that every donation goes directly to the dogs.

Above all, we want to wish you and your loved ones a peaceful Christmas and a happy new year.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us in any way this year. We genuinely could not do this without you.
