๐ŸŽ„Merry Christmas from all of us at Elysium Animal Rescue โ€“ Cyprus.

I want to start by saying thank you. Truly.
Your support this year has meant everything.

I also want to be honest with you.
Iโ€™ve been dealing with ongoing ill health and havenโ€™t been able to be online as much as usual. Thatโ€™s why updates have been quieter than normal. Many others have still been working very hard behind the scenes, and I hope the new year brings better health for me so I can get back to sharing more updates with you again.

When our online presence drops, donations do too. Thatโ€™s been hard for us.
Regular monthly donations make a real difference, especially during quieter periods. They help us cover boarding kennel fees and make sure every dog in our care gets the treatment and support they need, not only the most urgent cases.

If youโ€™re able to support us, please know that every donation goes directly to the dogs.

Above all, we want to wish you and your loved ones a peaceful Christmas and a happy new year.

Today is a very special day!

In the early hours of this morning, Bandit boarded his Freedom Flight for the first leg of his journey to his new home in the UK. Bandit (who will now be called Herbie) has an amazing new family waiting for him who canโ€™t wait to meet him!

And to make it even more special, yesterday we received confirmation that Bandit/Herbieโ€™s brother Smokey, has received a successful application and is now RESERVED! He will be making his way to his new home in the UK next month! ๐Ÿฅณ

Thank you so much to the amazing team at JCDR jcdr1156 for their help and support in finding homes for these two brothers. Massive thanks to Joanne Kane Pays jo_kane_pays who has been an amazing foster mum to the gorgeous boys for the last few months!

And as always thank you to all of you who follow us and support us in rescuing, treating, and caring for rescues like Smokey & Bandit. With your help another 2 sad Cyprus souls have a wonderful second chance at life ahead of them! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅณโœˆ๏ธ
