Their excitement is often the ONLY reason we want them to meet another dog.
They can drag us (often at speed), towards another dog they want to meet.
Even with the happiest/friendliest dog that pulls towards another dog....things can change in an instant once they actually meet.💥

Sometimes the over excitement of seeing another dog means they haven't assessed the situation and often we haven't assessed the situation either, we just want to make them happy!

🤬Face to face, tight leads and over excitement when meeting another dog can and does lead to very big issues.

👉Take the time to assess.

👉Take the time to teach your dog how to meet dogs in a way many dogs appreciate!

How can he survive in the pound? 🥺🥺🥺It’s been a nightmare for him—a whole month hiding in his cage. He’s too terrified to come out, and the constant barking from the other dogs is driving him crazy. We CANNOT leave him there. He won’t improve in this environment.

It’s heartbreaking to see him so scared, his eyes filled with fear as he runs to hide at the sound of barking. He doesn’t deserve this. We desperately need a FOSTER HOME for this sweet soul, either in the UK or Cyprus. Please, help us save him.😟

I don’t know what I did wrong. One day I was out, wandering, looking for someone to love me. Then these kind humans from the municipality found me and took me to a shelter. I’m so sad being on my own in a cage day in day out. I just want a family to call my own.

I’m a good girl, I promise. I’ll carry anything for you—a rope, a stick, your heart. That’s just who I am. I want to help. I want to make you happy.

But every day, I watch people walk past my kennel. They don’t see me. They don’t see how much love I have to give.

Please, if you have room in your heart and your home, will you take me with you? I’ll carry your burdens, your smiles, your love. Just say yes, and I’ll be yours forever.

We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration with the amazing positive dog trainer, Samantha Wayland Dog Training founder of the RDCN - Rescue Dog Care Network ! 🙌🐾

As part of our commitment to ensuring the best possible transition for our furry friends and their new families, we will now provide all adopters with *two complimentary training sessions* with Samantha, either in person or via video call!

🔹️ *Before Your Dog Arrives:*
This session will help you understand what to expect from your new companion and prepare you for their arrival. You’ll learn about the behaviours and sensitivities of a rescued dog and set a plan for the transition period. Samantha will be well-informed about each dog’s requirements, allowing for a personalized approach to your new addition! 🐶❣️

🔹️ *After Your Dog Arrives:*
Samantha will offer guidance tailored to your specific dog’s needs and your household setting. This can include introduction techniques between your new family member and other pets, proper interactions with children, and addressing specific sensitivities that your dog may have. This session focuses on settling your dog into your life as smoothly as possible, answering any questions you may have.

🩷 Pup no.5. HOLLIE🐶

🐾 Meet Hollie, a resilient puppy whose spirit shines bright despite the challenges she’s faced. Hollie was one of eight puppies abandoned at a municipal pound, left all alone at just 5-6 weeks of age. In a desperate race against time, we reached out for foster homes to keep them safe from the harsh realities of cold concrete and rusty cages, but sadly, time ran out. The heartbreaking reality is that all puppies contracted parvovirus, a cruel virus that took three of her siblings too soon. But Hollie is a survivor, a brave little fighter who has defied the odds! 🎀

🐾 Now, this sweet girl is ready to embrace life as the princess she truly is. With her gentle spirit and heart full of love, Hollie seeks the warmth of companionship and is always ready for a cozy cuddle. Her affectionate nature makes her the perfect friend, as she finds comfort in simply being close to those she loves. Hollie reminds us of the power of love and tenderness, and she is eager to fill your home with joy and warmth. Will you be the one to give her the forever home she deserves?👑

🐾 Currently weighing only 3 kg, we anticipate that she will grow to be a medium-sized hound, perhaps around 15 kg when fully grown. Born in late August or early September, Hollie is anticipated to be ready for her forever home in UK or Europe in our flight in January 2025. 😍🤩
