Well, today was a first! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Today I was called a "selfish, misguided jobsworth" because I refused to send 8 cats in crates that were not big enough for the cats. The cats were 36cm tall, and the crates 37cm. Neither were they long enough.

The owner kept quoting the IATA regulations to me but would not accept that me, as the shipper, has the respnsibility to ensure they are the correct size for the cats. Also, if they turned up at the airport in them, they would be refused travel. But hey, what do I know!

If I feel a crate is too small for ANY pet, I will NOT send it in it. Regardless of what insults the owner may throw at me.

I would rather risk losing my admin fee than send any pet in a crate that is not suitable.

Rant over! 🤣🤣

ELLIE PUPDATE

Apologies for being a bit quiet on the Ellie front.

I have been run off my feet this week with pets arriving and departing and then we have the 4 puppies at home to contend with. I seem to run out of daylight EVERY day!

Ellie is doing extremely well. We did have a bit of a scare in the week as she was swollen and lame on her leg/shoulder. I took her to the vet and he explained that because he removed a lymph gland, her body has to get used to it being missing (or something like that!).

She has antibiotics and was back home that evening being spoilt by Jillian Tremmil and Bill.

I still cannot find the chemo drug. If anyone reading this is a vet and can order it for me in the UK, I will find the means of getting it here, even if it involves a cheap plane ticket to the UK and back.

We HAVE to source it for Ellie's sake!
