On behalf of all the wonderful people who help animal and the animal charities here in the TRNC ( also applies to everywhere else).
When it comes to animals in need,
too many people are quick to pass the problem on to someone else.
Those of us who rescue and help animals are swamped. We are crippled by vet bills and rising food cost. We have had enough of other people not doing their bit.
"I've found a sick kitten, please help", "I've found a dog". How about take it to a vet. Put your hand in your pocket. Get in your car, get on a dolmus. Feed it, give it water, give it shelter. Get it neutered. Show some compassion and stop expecting others to do it for you. Keep some dry food, water and take away containers in your car and feed some strays. Donate to the animal charities, go to a fundaising event, volunteer, foster or Adopt. How about having a clearout and donating your unwanted goods to one of the charities. I understand that some poeole are not in a positon to help, but a lot of people are and do nothing.
Stop saying "I wish we could help". You can. Every little helps.
Ask yourself the question " what can i do to make an amimals life better?"
If someone asks for help, ask yourself "what can I do".
Coming on holiday? Ask yourself "can I spare a little room in my suitcase for something that will help an animal in need?"
If you rehome an animal, please don't give to a student. What will they do with it after they leave?
If you move, take your pets with you. If you absolutely can't take your pet, don't leave it to the last minute to try to rehome it. You adopted it. A pet is not a toy you can throw away when it's no longer convenient to keep it.
We all live here, if we all did our bit then maybe we could make a difference.

Freedom Sanctuary were paying for Rockys vet bill. If anyone would like to donate toward it, donations can be left at VetPoint in Çatalköy.
The more money donated the more Freedom Sanctuary can help other cats and dogs in need.

I'm a little upset. I'm not going to lie. Rocky is definitely faulty.
Sat down with him last night to watch TV. Like a good cat mum, I introduced him to Star Trek. His response.......he p*ed on me.
I put Star Wars on and he watched the light saber battle between Obi Wan and Darth Vader.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I would like to apologise to the people of Çatalköy who may have been disturbed by the sound of a kitten yelling this morning. I can assure everyone, that despite what Rocky was saying, Altay at VetPoint was not trying to kill him. He was just shaving his leg for a blood test.
Rocky, is such a drama queen. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm such a terrible mum, raising my boy with YouTube. He likes the visual simulation from Videos for cats. He currently watching goldfish swimming about. t's actually tummy time. I've put Rocky in a proper lying position to help create muscle memory. The donut toy is because he can't hold his head up for long. His just had his dinner and he's getting tired, so his head keeps flopping. Like a new born baby, we have to support Rocky's head and neck as the muscles a still week.

I got her again. I p*ed on my mum at the vet, I tried to get the vet too, but he was too quick.

Rocky woke me up a 6 this morning for a cuddle. He was really trying to sit up.
He even manage to eat without the two of us wearing most of his food.

Good morning everyone. I'm upset today. You hoomans say "things come in 3s". Well I was all ready to p*e on my mum again. She spoilt my devilish plan, she had a puppy pad on her knee.
I hate whoever invented them, it's spoils my fun.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Today Rocky has been sitting up, with a little help. We also tried walking, that didn't go so well, but he tried. He also discovered YouTube's Videos for cats. I think he likes the fishes best.
Rocky also discovered crinkley cat balls. He even tried to push it.
