This journey has been challenging but incredibly rewarding!

It's been already 6 months and this journey of knowledge has come to an end. I am filled with gratitude for all that I have learned along the way. I couldn't have made it this far without the guidance and support of my incredible coach, Massimiliano Carluccio . Your wisdom, patience, and encouragement have been invaluable to me throughout this journey.

I am truly grateful for all the time and effort you put into helping me reach my goals and expand my knowledge. Your passion for teaching and dedication to your students is truly inspiring. Thank you for pushing me to go beyond my limits and for always believing in me.

As I move on to the next chapter of my life, I will carry with me the lessons and skills that you have imparted to me.

Emilija, our student, did an amazing job today on our black poodle Phivos!

Poodle 🐩 is one of the most difficult breeds to groom, even in commercial clip, from bath to haircut that's why is so challenging and enjoyable. Grooming a poodle requires dedication, knowing the breed well, experience and techniques, the reward of a well-groomed and stylish pooch is worth the effort. Emilija did incredible work. She emphasised the teddy bear face and the styling. We cannot be more proud!😊

Είμαστε χαρούμενοι και περήφανοι για αυτές τις δύο υπέροχες κοπέλες, δούλεψαν σε μια απο τις πιο δύσκολες φυλές όσο αφορά τον καλλωπισμό και το αποτέλεσμα είναι υπέροχο!! Η αφοσίωσή τους στη μάθηση και η διάθεσή τους να αναπτύξουν τις δεξιότητές τους είναι πραγματικά εντυπωσιακές. Ο βαθύς αφοσιωμένος χαρακτήρας και η επιδεξιότητά τους στην εκμάθηση αποτελούν πηγή έμπνευσης και υπερηφάνειας. Είναι μεγάλη μας χαρά να βλέπουμε τους μαθητές μας να αναπτύσσονται και να εξελίσσονται καθημερινά! Είμαι βέβαιος ότι έχουν μπροστά τους ένα λαμπρό μέλλον. Είναι πραγματικά ένα προνόμιο να είμαι μέρος της εκπαιδευτικής τους πορείας και δεν μπορώ παρά να νιώθω υπερήφανος για αυτούς!
Όμως να ευχαριστήσουμε και τα μοντέλα της σχολής μας, Hector & Phivos, που και πάλι έδειξαν εξαίρετο χαρακτήρα και αφέθηκαν στα χέρια των μαθητριών.

It's this time of the year‼️

☣️The first thing you need to know about the processionary caterpillar as a dog owner is that they can be very dangerous. If a human comes into contact with a caterpillar or their hairs, it can cause a nasty allergic reaction, including a rash, asthma attacks, and vomiting. Dogs are at risk, too, though their symptoms may include a swollen, discoloured tongue or muzzle.

It’s important to be aware of the confirmed locations where the caterpillars and their nests have been discovered and to stay away and stay vigilant if you’re out walking your dog in areas populated by oak trees.

Caterpillars present dangers for curious pets, especially dogs who may go sniffing around underneath trees and may be fascinated if they spot a hairy creepy-crawly.

Processionary caterpillars are covered in thousands of hairs, known as Urticating hairs or bristles (around 62,000 of them!). These contain a highly irritating protein that can cause severe allergic reactions. In the latter larvae stage of development (the caterpillars themselves go through six stages of moulting before entering the pupate phase) these hairs can be ejected or shed. Even when not attached to a caterpillar, these hairs can still cause incredibly nasty stings.

Your dog may pick up the hairs on his paws and lick them because of the itching they cause. This will bring the bristles into contact with the mouth and nose. The tongue may become so large and swollen that the air passages can also become blocked leading to suffocation and death.
