Today we operated on a stray kitten brought by the amazing Petra Švantnerová! The kitten was likely hit by a car and has suffered multiple injuries. A broken femoral head, multiple pelvic fractures, but the most crucial and life threatening condition was the torn abdominal wall with herniated urinary bladder. “Ffion” has now undergone surgery to repair the muscles and reposition the hernia, and is recovering. She will still need to undergo another surgery to remove the broken feromal head. Please send positive energy her way, and we all wish her a quick recovery. Once again thank you to all good pleople like Petra for helping stray cats!

Collecting pebbles on the beach is a lovely idea. Gathering them in the Urinary Bladder? Not such a great idea! 😂🤪 Nitsa (14 year old female) had her Urinary Bladder partially filled with cystolyths. Removed by Cystotomy. Now home and safe recovering.

Rizhik was shot by a BB gun and had his left humerus broken into several pieces. Intramedulary pinning and circlage was done to reunite the bone. He is now in the process of healing and trying to run already, merel a week after his surgery. We removed the sutures today, and we expect him to make a full recovery in about 3-5 weeks ! Stay strong and safe Rizhik!

Our clinic offers home visits for our patients whenever needed. Today we payed a visit to the lovely Kimura who is in her final stages of pregnancy and home visit was by far less stressful than bringing her to the clinic. Our portable Ultrasound machine was used to check on the puppies. Mummy Kinura is expecting 3 puppies soon, and they are all doing very well. She is happy in her home environment and the puppies are developing beautifully! Good luck and lots of love from iVet animal clinic.

We do home visits for preventive(vaccinations, pre flight checks, deworming etc.) and emergency cases. Contact us for any additional information, appointments, or in case of an emergency!
