We are so grateful to Nikos Sielis and his team at Sielis Farm Foods in Coral Bay for allowing us to collect donations from his customers today. A total of €216.22 was raised for the pound dogs. Huge vote of thanks to Nik and his wonderful customers!

Especially during the festive season, keep a close eye on your dog to ensure they can’t steal any of the foods they should not be eating. All dangerous food should be kept well out of their reach.

Santa certainly came early for our pound dogs today. Donations of yummy dog treats and also towels were received from Anne Jordan. Later we had a separate delivery of bags of kibble from Elaine. Thank you both for your kindness which is much appreciated. Our dogs are so lucky to have wonderful supporters. ❤❤🐾🐾🙏🙏

** MEET NOVA & HER PUPS **

Introducing beautiful Nova and her 4 super puppies, caught today 14/12 in what must be one of the fastest rescues in history!! 💚🐾🌟

With huge thanks to Andrew Jackson, local Peyia resident and keen dog-lover, who has been determinedly feeding and befriending this super Mum over the past couple of weeks, and has named her ‘Nova’.

A plan was hatched for Andrew and a Friends of PDP team to complete a rescue mission for mum and pups early this morning.

As we reached the site of Nova’s den, Andrew already had Mum comfortably in his arms, enabling our team to swoop in and quickly bring the pups to safety too. [Rescue video to follow soon]

The pups – 2 boys and 2 girls – are approximately 3 weeks old and absolutely adorable.

PLEASE HELP US TO HELP THEM. We know that it is near to Christmas, we are so grateful for any donations to help fund their medical care and upcoming vaccinations.

Super Nova and her 4 babies are now all snuggled together in a safe and warm place and it is wonderful to know that especially with a cold snap of weather on the way, they will be experiencing their first night of warmth and safety tonight…. with many more to come!

At just 8 months old, ROXI, the stunning girl with her shiny brindle coat, has hit the jackpot with a fabulous new home in England! Her start in life wasn't so bright—she was found roaming the streets covered in ticks and fleas—but that's all ancient history now. Roxi dazzled all the doggies and volunteers with her charisma and bubbly personality. Even the dog trainer was blown away by her high intellect. We wish you the most exciting life, sweetheart! Enjoy every moment !
