As we approach the holiday season, I believe it’s important to think about how we can make it special for our furry friends at the shelter. This upcoming Christmas could be the last at the shelter, so let’s spoil them a little bit. I was thinking of providing toys for everyone to choose from, delicious treats, and a festive Christmas meal. My hope is that they’ll enjoy their next Christmas in their forever homes, and in a cozy little corner surrounded by loved ones. So this festive season it’s time to go all out for them one last time, before we’re forced to close our doors once and for all. With the court decision being next month, i’ll do my best to gather as many items as possible, but it all depends on the generosity of those who are willing to support this cause. Meet Bonnie and Clyde! This adorable pair was found abandoned outside our shelter gates. Since no one came forward to claim them, they are now ready for adoption. We believe they should stay together as they clearly have a special bond and likely belong to the same family.
Bonnie and Clyde are both kokonis around 2-3years old with Clyde weighing 10 kilos and Bonnie around 7 kilos. They are great on the leash, get along well with most dogs, and absolutely love attention. While Bonnie is more outgoing with new people, Clyde can be a bit cautious due to past abuse. He may not like being picked up or pushed, so an experienced family would be ideal for them.

Meet Megan, a beautiful lady who was abandoned in the streets along with two other dogs when the factory she lived in was taken over by the bank. Megan is a husky cross German Shepherd, she is a medium size girl and weighs around 16kgs, and just 8 months old. She gets along well with other dogs but isn’t a big fan of cats. Megan is full of energy and would love an active family to keep up with her. If you are interested in learning more about this lovely girl, feel free to reach out to us. Meet Daisy!
Daisy is a beautiful girl who found herself on the streets after living in a factory for over a year. When the bank repossessed the property, the people left her and two other dogs behind. Daisy is a medium-sized dog, weighing around 18kgs. She is a staffy cross and is approximately 3 years old.
Daisy is great with other dogs, but she’s not a big fan of cats. She could use some training with not pulling on the lead, but she’s a smart girl and making progress. If you’re interested in offering Daisy a forever home in Cyprus or abroad, please reach out.

A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers team - Andri, Enrico, Janet, Pete, and Sandeep who generously covered shifts at the shelter while I underwent my second surgery and focused on my recovery. Your kindness and support mean the world to me. Though it seems more surgeries are on the horizon, knowing that I have such a caring community behind me makes this journey a bit easier. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

🔹Bella has settled in wonderfully and is truly amazing at home.
🔸She may bark with excitement when we come back from work, but it doesn’t last long.
🔹Bella is fully house trained and will patiently wait by the back door when she needs to go out.
🔸She adores cuddles but also enjoys her own space.
🔹Bella can coexist with cats, as long as they are comfortable with dogs too.
🔸She would love to have a furry friend to live with and occasionally looks for Keira in the house.
🔹While she is usually great with other dogs on walks, she may growl if she feels unsure or scared. We’re working on this by giving her space and time.
🔸Bella is a champ on walks but is still learning not to pull, as she gets easily distracted by squirrels due to her hound instincts.
🔹She is great with kids and loves to chew on toys.
🔸Bella is a sweet and loving pup who just needs a little guidance on some behaviors. She will make a wonderful addition to any family!
🔹Bella is a Greek hare hound who weighs about 18 kilos and is 3 years old. Bella has leishmania but don’t worry, her levels are almost negative. She just needs to take her pills in the morning and at night to stay healthy.

Zuri is all set and excited for her upcoming freedom flight to the UK on the 27th of October. Unfortunately, the family who was meant to adopt her suddenly canceled the adoption, leaving Zuri in a precarious situation with nowhere to go. We are urgently seeking a forever home for her, not just a temporary foster home. If you or anyone you know is looking to adopt a furry friend, please consider Zuri!
Zuri is a small, well-behaved pup who walks nicely on a lead, adores kids, and gets along well with other dogs. She’s in good health and has already been spayed. Our adoption package includes a homecheck and ongoing rescue support for all our beloved dogs. Let’s find Zuri the loving forever home she deserves! Thank you sincerely to everyone who contributed to Skylar’s surgery fund! We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and support. The next 6-8 weeks will be crucial in determining if Skylar’s leg will heal properly with the current external support, or if she will require an additional arrhodesis surgery. As of now, she is in good spirits and responding well to treatment. Skylar will be closely monitored every week, and we will keep you updated on her progress every step of the way.
We are thrilled to share that the funds raised, including the generous 300£ donation from her sponsor Matthew Hewitt, will cover the cost of her potential second surgery. In the event that the additional surgery is not needed, the remaining funds will be dedicated to supporting another deserving dog or Skykar herself if she is fit to fly in a UK foster home. Their efforts helped us raise much-needed funds 336€ during this challenging time as we work to send as many of our dogs as possible to foster homes in the UK.
