Hello, my name is Olive

I’m a female Pointer cross with long ears, who is approximately
two years old. I came into Barc as a stray through the SBA.
I am very timid and still learning to trust people. I’m getting used to going out for walks on a lead,.
Olive is not frightened to be vocal at times! She enjoys the company of the other dogs. She just needs the chance to experience a real home!

Good morning everyone. Please bare with us at the moment, I had an accident at the weekend which means I can’t get in for a while. The staff that have volunteered to come in and help also have commitments of their own. Please message us if you need anything, we will do everything we can to either be in or be able to deliver to you. Please message myself or Kerry Arthur if you need anything. Hi everyone!
BARC Dhekelia are gonna start up the dog walking groups again, to start with only twice a week so please head over to the Dhekelia Station Dog Walkers group and select which days would be best for you! Once we know which days are best we will do another poll to see the best specific times for everyone🐾
These walks are great for socialisation with other dogs and a good training opportunity!
Also, feel free to use the dog walking group to ask any doggy questions or set up your own play dates💗

Hello Facebonkers.
I wonder if you could do me a favour? Whenever you hear that someone is planning to get a cat or a dog, try to persuade them to adopt instead of buying from a breeder. There are so many beautiful, unlucky and forever-grateful pets who have been abandoned and deserve a good home. Never buy from a pet shop and always at least check out your local rescue centre. I bet you’ll fall in love. Thanks.

Dobby here wanting to know why I never receive any applications. Is it because I’m blind and deaf? You really wouldn’t know it. I get around extremely well and can do stairs, both up and down. I am completely housebroken and will jingle bells on the door to let you know when I have to go out. Is it my ears? Are they too big? Because the people at Speak have always said they are ear-ristible. It may be the ears or the border collie in me, but I admit, I am extremely smart and willing to learn so much more. If you are a trainer or someone interested in learning tactile commands, we would be a great team. I could be your demo dog as well as your very best friend. Speak will be there for both of us throughout our journey together. Please check out my bio. I need a furever home.
