ADOPTION PROCESS:
Announcing the Cool Critters adoption procedure! Due to the high volume of adoption requests we receive, we have decided to implement a new adoption procedure to help us find the perfect fit for each and every animal. If y

ou see an animal you are interested in adopting, or would like to be considered for adoption in general, you will need to fill out our adoption application. We will review these applications and choose candidates we feel are best suited to match with the personalities and needs of the animals available for adoption. These candidates will then be invited for a round of meet and greets, after which the final decision on adoption will be made. Being first to fill out an application will not guarantee you will be chosen. You will be considered again when another pup or kitty that seems to be a potential match comes through our doors. DIEGO is looking for his forever home!!🏠

Meet DIEGO, male, 5 years old, he is microchipped, castrated, vaccinated and tested positive for FIV.

FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. While there is no cure for FIV, cats with the virus can still live long and healthy lives with proper care and management. Diego is good with other cats, but due to the virus he should be an only cat or with other FIV positive cats.

Diego is a big 5.5 kg boy with a big heart. 😻 He is bundle of love, who will absolutely melt your heart. Diego is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and just wants to be close to you, always! ❤️

His favourite things in the world? Cuddles, head scratches, and being told he’s a good boy (which he is all the time!).

This adorable cat loves to nap by the window, quietly watching the world go by. But more than anything, Diego just wants to be next to you! 😻 He’ll nudge you softly or give you those irresistible eyes to ask for pets.

We at Cool Critters are truly grateful for all the help we have had for many years from Honza and his Momma 😍 Without them, our garden would be a jungle and we wouldn't have many of the wonderful things that keep our shelter secure and safe.

Cat nets at the windows, a cat enclosure, electric outside, secure kennels so that even the trickiest of dogs can't escape. This is just a tiny taste of all the improvements that these wonderful people bring to the lives of our Critters, and to us 🥰

For the last few weeks, Honza has been constructing a gate. And last weekend it was installed ❤️ Honza, you are amazing, wonderful, kind, our superman 💪

Lena is a very shy, but adorable little doggie. She is a true sweetheart that loves dogs and is fine with cats. She hasn't had much human contact, but she gets better and braver every day!❤

RITA is looking for her forever home!!

Meet RITA, female, 2 years old, mixed breed, smaller medium size 15.5 kg. She is vaccinated, dewormed, anti-parasite treated, health tested, microchipped and castrated.

Rita is a lovely miniature Shepherd mix.❤️ She adores people and is great with children, even with younger ones around the age of 5. 🥰 She is a happy and energetic girl that loves to explore and walks well on the leash. Rita is fine with other dogs. She is a little afraid of cats, but could share a home with them.🐾

Rita travels well in the car and she's a good girl at the vet.🙏 Rita is very submissive with people, she has a good amount of energy, so she can't be left alone at home for too long. Rita is extremely smart and she is very people oriented, so she loves to be close to her human, but she also enjoys play time with other dogs. If Rita has nothing to do and is being left alone for too long, for example in the garden, she can even jump a fence to play with the neighbour's dog. 🫣

Wiggle Wiggle is STILL looking for his forever home!!
He is already waiting 1 year for his forever home!!😭

Meet Wiggle, male, 3 years old, medium size 19 kg. He is vaccinated, castrated, dewormed, anti-parasite treated and microchipped.

Wiggle is a fantastic dog! Loyal, gentle and cuddly, a real softie. We call him Wiggle Wiggle because he is a great dancer and shakes his b***y when he's happy to see you.🥰 He is a true sweetheart who is very shy at first around strangers, but once Wiggle figures out that the person means no harm, he becomes very cuddly. He used to be terrified of kids, but in the right environment he even got used to a baby. 🙏 Wiggle is an absolute non-conflict dog, no matter how scared he is, he would never growl or snap. He is also a good boy at the vet.

Wiggle is good with other dogs and he is fine with cats.🐾 Wiggle was over the winter months in foster care in Prague and his fosters were saying that Wiggle is well behaved, he loves to sleep with them in the bed, he is house trained, he is calm inside and he walks well on the leash, but Wiggle is scared of city noises and and gets terrified when there is too many people, so a life on the countryside or on the outskirts of a city is a must for him!

Right now Wiggle is in foster care on the countryside in a house with garden. His current fosters are saying that Wiggle is improving daily. He enjoys his walks in the forest, he is very cuddly and well behaved at home. Wiggle is also able to stay alone at home. He walks well on the leash, he's used to the car and he's a good boy at the vet. Wiggle seems to have a cat character 😻 and when it's dark, he loves to explore and sniff around the garden. 🌙

KUBIČEK is looking for his forever home!!🏠

Meet KUBIČEK, male, 7 years old, he is microchipped, castrated, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Kubiček is a wonderful 6 kg big boy.😻 He is so sweet and so calm, truly adorable. Kubiček was on the streets, he had no home and nowhere to go. A vet rescued Kubiček. The street life is written all over Kubiček's face, you can see he has endured, he carries those experiences visibly, but yet his nature remained kind. He might be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, he will reward you with gentle purrs and head rubs.

It's a testament to the incredible spirit of many rescue animals. His face tells a story of what he's been through, but his "heart of gold" tells the true story of who he is. ❤️

Meet Momma Bindi and her littles ☺️

Bindi got her name because she has the perfect little Bindi spot on her head and we decided to give all the kittens Indian names to keep it easy for us to identify them 😻

The three ginger boys are Khan, Emir and Dev. The two tabby girls are Indra and Isha 😻 All will be vaccinated this week and in four weeks they will all be looking for new homes 🤗 We are open for applications 😻

It's here again! We will never dare to mention that we don't have a single kitten in the shelter right now. Before we knew it, chance gave us 15 of them at once! 4 kittens were born to a pregnant cat that we took in, and 11 are abandoned foundlings. So now we have our hands full and our heads full of worries.

All these little critters are growing like crazy and until they can find new homes, we are responsible for their bellies and bottoms. Please help us replenish our food and litter supplies to give these creatures the best possible start in life 🙏
