Since last year, the castration of piglets in Germany is fortunately only allowed with anesthesia ❤️🐷
The piglets are fixed in so-called castration machines where they receive inhalation anesthesia via a mask. The hind legs are clamped in such a way that the surgical castration can be performed quickly and safely.
In order to be able to practice this process on a live piglet before an operation, we have designed our small Castro on which the individual steps can be practiced up to routine 💪
Different organs require different suture materials, that's for sure! 🪡 Each organ tissue has its own special requirements, for which the appropriate needle size, needle type and thread must be selected. With our suture pads we offer the matching suture materials in clinic quality from so that you can practice the various suture techniques under most realistic conditions!

Teat/colon/vein: very fine round 1/2 needle with monofilament thread to minimize trauma in super fine tissues 🔎
