I`m addicted to basenjis since I have seen one the first time in the early 90ties on a dogshow at Dortmund/Germany. Therefore I got in contact with in the scene very wellknown Sally & Marvin Wallis from Zande Basenjis in Great Britain in 1993. I had to wait almost 2 years till 1995 before I got my first Basenji
Her name

was Asali, Zande Asali (Zande Rajua x Embeau Alpha) and she was on my side for over 15 years! Loki`s Iloua (Klassic`s Lady in Red x Zuri`s Nwa Ozuzu) - from the US. She was bred by my dear friend Alex Guth from Loki Basenjis. WIth "Loua" I had my first litter, she is the foundation girl of my Msumari`s breeding. Nowadays, there are 5 Basenjigirls out of 4 generations living at home with me. One male is living with a friend of mine and 4 more Basenjis are co-owned. Please read carefully the characteristics of the breed! Basenjis are not an easy breed and you need to know what you get for the next 12-16 years!

And the Puppy Best in Show goes to...
the Basenji !!!

What a great success for our 6,5 month old little tri girlie!
At CACIB Christmas Winner at Wels in Austria on 08.12.24 she was placed first out of 26 beautiful puppies under judge Gunnar Nymann (DK)

We are incredibly proud of our breeding success.

In Germany, there are very few, if any, shows that fall into the 6-9 month timeframe of the Puppy Class.
This means we have to travel to other countries to present our puppies.
Unfortunately, due to the high costs of such trips, it`s not possible to show our puppies that often.
I am absolutely thrilled and proud about this win, especially under a judge I believe I have never shown under before.
And as all our Basenjis stay with us their whole life and therefore have limited space for dogs, we don`t have the chance to join events like this that often.
„Zouhyah“ is as well out of the first Msumari`s litter with dam and sire of my breeding!

Our tri boy was shown as well the last show weekend of this year in Austria at Hund Wels - Championshipshows 24.
Since his last show in Austria back in 2022 (I didn`t even realize, that the break was that long...) he needed one more CAC to finish his austrian title and he did it with style!

and we had some some fantastic results for the Msumari‘s Basenjis!

Calin Margineanu (CACIB Christmas Winner, 08.12.24)

„Noué“ received 3x Vet-CAC, 2x Vet-CACIB & 3x Vet-BOB and can call herself now...

At both CACIB shows she was in the finals in the main ring with the last 6 veterans and at CACIB on 07.12.24 she convinced the swedish judge Natalja Skalin and won out of 35 veterans

We received the very sad news,
that „Beau“ aka „Bosse“ aka

„Ch. Msumari`s Ayo Azibo“

joined his mommy „Loua“
and his sisters „Amina“ & „Lulka“
and is now running free with them.

Thank you to Nora, who owned him together with myself and thank you so much to Susanna, who took such a good care for him the last years and who was with him till the end!
Susanna, I wish you all the best and please stay strong!
Times will hopefully be better soon again!

„Beau“ was the lastborn puppy of my very first Msumari`s A-Litter, the only boy and the first tricolor in my breeding.
With him, my passion for this colour started...
