Today our smaller Yate Male "Yago" moved into his Endcage. Near to 400g

His bigger brother York could be over 500🙈 need to weigh him soon..

Attached a Project we are working on since a few years 🤗
A Dark Pattern Animal only a bit bigger then Islands and not that territorial 😬 and heavy like the known Dark Once 😆🤪

The Offsprings will get darker in aging.
They will get 300-320g 🥰
and 32-34cm max 😍

Heute feiern wir den Tag der Fotografie! 📸

Dieses schöne Foto wurde von S. Gilpin im Rahmen des Exo Terra Nactus Awards eingesandt.

Zu sehen ist der Bauers Chamäleon Gecko (Eurydactylodes agricolae), eine nachtaktive Echsenart, die in Neukaledonien endemisch ist. Sie wurde nach dem amerikanischen Herpetologen Aaron Matthew Bauer benannt, einem Biologieprofessor der Villanova University in Pennsylvania (USA).

Its always one of the best Feelings at Leachianus Keeping in my opinion.. you have growd them up from small and then the Days come they move into their forever Enclosure 🤗
At the Weekend it was the time for one special Lady here 🥰
Our Purest Leachianus a F1 Female from Mt. Dore called Daisy.
Its so crazy how yellow they can go in comparison to Mt. Koghis.

Leachianus are always a Loto Game and never a Guarantee for Babys if they are together as a Pair.
But Patience is the Key... Sometimes they take longer until all runs.
Attached an Egg from an Pair nealy 2 Years together and until now 0 Eggs...

After in the last Time often Light Animals are a thing people discuss about...
I only wanted to show a nice example how light even normal Koghis Babys get if they want.
I was spraying and one was showing that nicely..
Offspring is just a normal
75% Koghis Trögerline F3 x 25% Cf F2
Born Dezember 23 so just a bit over 5 Months 😋

Attached in comparison another Offspring from that Pair with a the normal look..

Doesn't mean there aren't some specials out there but not all is what it seems to be...
Just a Tipp for Beginners 😬
