We have been lovers of miniature dachshunds for 20 + years. We show our dogs and breed them as well. Stop by for a visit. Hope to see you soon.

We have been breeding champion miniature dachshunds since 1994 and before then my wife bred rough collies under the kennel name of Lone Star Kennels. All our puppies are raised underfoot which means without kennels. Our lines contain both the Raline lines out of England and Globus Family lines out of New York. Today, Sally gave birth to 3 boys and 2 girls. All are doing well.

Posted • There’s no better job on the planet than volunteering for Ronnie, the baby Cape Vulture, and the Condor Team Los Angeles Zoo]. If you take a moment, you’ll notice there’s a human apprentice in the chair who Ronnie is generously advising (me). It’s hard to describe the awe of being enveloped by the divine wings of an endangered vulture. Two-thirds of the world’s vulture species are going extinct so every day with Ronnie and the Condor Team matters. Their efforts to protect and help this species propagate could be the last stand between these cleansers of our earth and extinction. These past three days have been heartbreaking for us. Two days ago, Dora (15 years old) went to the rainbow bridge. Last night, Joey, our 15-year-old piebald, passed away as well. We are all in shock as it was all sudden. At least Dora has a friend with her. RIP
