Hanse-Scientific Company web page Hanse Scientific UG Our start-up is dedicated to the development of new phytobiotics. Phytobiotics are plant-based antibacterial substances.

We want to put traditional recipes on a scientific basis. Thus, we use an evolutionarily proven approach to break new ground in the superficial treatment of bacterial resistance. Phytobiotics are plant based antibacterial substances. Our Start-up Hanse-Scientific develops new phytobiotic care products. We bring home remedies to a new scientific level and go the evolution proven way to deal with re

Our Story

The history of the Sofoxin product begins between the North Caucasus and South Russia. For generations, the Smirnov family used the extract from Sophora japonica for wound treatment. Dr Juri Smirnov has the technique that comes from his grandparents, who used to make a traditional extract from this plant and took the recipe with him to Germany, Hamburg. This knowledge has laid the foundation for the exploration of Sophora japonica extracts.

The goal of Hanse Scientific is the development of antibacterial substances based on natural plant extracts. Plants protect themselves and their fruits or seeds with their own substances, which have multicomponent efficacy. As a result, bacteria and other microorganisms can form more dangerous resistance. The reason for this protection mechanism lies in the fact that plants can not constantly adapt to new resistant pathogens and leave their locations due to their long life cycles. Evolutionary could prevail those plants that have developed by their own protective mechanisms an effective approach to bacteria.

We study these natural mechanisms of action and try to decipher them in order to make them optimally usable for humans and animals. On this basis, Hanse Scientific is developing a new class of natural bacteriostatic therapies.
