We have wonderful guests this weekend training with us - like we did with Thors father Shanti most of the time… Somewhere outside in the fields. @for_the_love_of_the_doberman Melanie is here with Thor and Vie and we just had the most peaceful and wonderful sunset training ever! The dogs had great fun, showed great work and we had some prickly afterwards while we watched the sun go down. Aaaawwww… Simply AWESOME 😍🙏

Finally, suitable treats for Barunchen! It took a loooong time to find something he can tolerate and likes, but also has a good consistency and size. Since the ones with beef didn’t work for him, I was hesitant to try these at first. After we seemingly tried every treat under the sun, we went back to the ones from @iq_dogsport and tried the horse ones. They are semi-moist, grain-free, and single protein, and they’re the perfect size for training with a Doberman! They’re not immediately visible in the field, but if they’re thrown as a reward, they’re big enough to be easily spotted. Soft enough not to choke on, but not so soft that they crumble everywhere.
