❗️ There are lots of acorns in the forest in autumn. Dogs often like to play with acorns or eat them. But you should not allow this! ❌ Acorns contain a poisonous substance, tannic acid (tannin). This causes stomach cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting. And can even be fatal! Acorns, pine cones and chestnuts can also lead to constipation if swallowed in one go. This can often only be remedied by surgery.
