Gern möchte ich Ihnen hiermit einen Eindruck über die Rasse "Rhodesian Ridgeback" vermitteln und Ihnen zeigen, wie wir mit unseren Hunden leben. Mein Name ist Nancy Dressel und wir wohnen in Jessen/Elster, gelegen im Dreiländereck von Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt und Brandenburg. Unsere Hunde genießen eine relativ große "Hütte", in der wir alle gemeinsam auf einem etwa 1.400 m² großen Grundstück, direk

t am Wald gelegen wohnen. Unsere Rhodesian Ridgebackhündin ”Karoskloof Mack`s Khaya” wurde am 17.07.2003 in Südafrika im Kennel ”Karoskloof” von Arno van Wyk geboren. Sie kam am 16.09.2003 in Frankfurt per ”Luftfracht“ an. Nach langem Warten und viel Bürokratie nahmen wir voller Aufregung ein kleines braunes ”Ridgiebaby” in Empfang. Khaya hat sich im Laufe der Zeit zu einer schönen, temperamentvollen und sehr selbstbewussten Hündin mit einem großen ”Kuschelbedürfnis" entwickelt. Nach etwa einem halben Jahr bekam unsere Familie noch einen kleinen Wirbelwind dazu. Kisangani Dangerous Mind, genannt Chuma, wurde am 12.01.2004 geboren. Sie wurde im Kennel "Kisangani" von Karin van Klaveren gezogen und ist seit dem 19.03.2004 unser Familienmitglied. Sie wächst zu einer liebenswerten und hübschen Hündin mit viel Bewegungsdrang heran. Unser Zwinger wurde im Mai 2004 vom VDH/FCI unter dem Namen "Caladesi" geschützt.
