They have a relatively high stability at low pH values and are able to form complex compounds with minerals that dissolve in water. Humic acids are generally very soluble in water and as a result often have a dark colour, which leads to a brownish discolouration of the water.fulvic acids are water-soluble molecules that have a higher mobility in water than humic acids.
