🐾 Wichtige Erinnerung für alle Hundebesitzer! 🐾

Gerade in dieser Jahreszeit, wo die Temperaturen steigen und unsere pelzigen Freunde gerne im Wasser planschen, ist es von großer Bedeutung, die Ohren unserer Hunde regelmäßig zu reinigen. 🌊💦

Warum ist das so wichtig? Nun, beim Schwimmen können sich Wasser, Schmutz und andere Verunreinigungen im Gehörgang ansammeln, was zu unangenehmen und potenziell schmerzhaften Infektionen führen kann. Durch die Feuchtigkeit und den erhöhten pH-Wert im Ohr können sich Bakterien, Hefen oder Pilze schneller vermehren.

Indem wir die Ohren unserer vierbeinigen Begleiter regelmäßig kontrollieren und reinigen, können wir Infektionen frühzeitig erkennen und ihnen vorbeugen. Es ist eine einfache Maßnahme, die das Wohlbefinden und die Gesundheit unserer Hunde gewährleistet. 🐶💕

Hier sind ein paar Tipps, wie ihr die Ohren eurer Fellnasen reinigen könnt:

🍂 In the cold season, the danger of mallenders in horses increases again. 🐴

5 tips to avoid mallenders:

Less is more: Don't wash and cream the pastern too often.

Always dry with a clean towel after washing.

Clean the pastern with a soft brush.

Gaiters and hoof bells should be cleaned before they are put on the horse.

Do not remove the hangings.

If you are already struggling with mallenders, we recommend our special product petHorse Health 2006.

Wet food? Dry food?

A healthy mix is the key! 🐈

If you want to give your pet the best possible care, make sure you give it a balanced mix of dry and wet food. Dry food maintains and strengthens the chewing muscles and promotes tooth wear. It is also less perishable. The wet food adds some liquid to your cat as it eats. This will keep them hydrated even on days when they don't drink well.

Was kann es an einem heißen Sommertag schöneres geben, als ein Eis? Auch unsere Pferde freuen sich über eine eisige, fruchtige Überraschung. Wir haben eine ganz einfache und schnelle Idee für euch:

1️⃣ Obst-Eis für Pferde:

- Bananen oder Äpfel
- Eiswürfelform

Die Bananen oder Äpfel in kleine Stückchen schneiden. Jeweils ein Obststückchen in eine Eiswürfelform geben. Mit Leitungswasser auffüllen und ab ins Gefrierfach. Ein paar Stunden warten und schon habt ihr genau das Richtige für heiße Sommertage.

Auch unsere lieben Fellnasen brauchen mal eine Abkühlung. Wir haben für euch zwei ganz einfache Rezepte für eure Vierbeiner.

1️⃣ Gemüse-Eis für Hunde:

- 2 Esslöffel Wasser oder Naturjoghurt
- 1/2 Gurke
- 1/2 Karotte

Die Gurke gründlich waschen und zusammen mit der geschälten Karotte pürieren. Anschließend mit Joghurt oder Wasser mischen, bis die gewünschte Konsistenz vorhanden ist, durchfrieren lassen und im leicht angetauten Zustand servieren.

Um das Ganze aufzupeppen, könnt Ihr etwas gekochtes Hühnerfleisch mit pürieren.

2️⃣ Fruchtiges und laktosefreies Eis für Hunde:

- 2 Esslöffel Wasser
- 1/2 Apfel
- 1/2 Banane
- Eine kleine Handvoll Erdbeeren, Blaubeeren, Himbeeren

Obst mit Wasser vermischen, pürieren und die Masse auf kleine Förmchen verteilen. Für Hunde, die Laktose vertragen, kann das Eis mit etwas Naturjoghurt angereichert werden.

Ein kleiner Klecks Honig ist ebenfalls erlaubt. Süßstoffe und Zucker sind dagegen tabu, wenn du das Hundeeis selber machst.
