Forever our favourite: the Gauguin coat. But why the name? I‘m naming all the coats after famous artists. And I always try to find an artist, that matches the color or style of the coat with his paintings or artworks. Paul Gauguin was a French painter, who died in 1903 in French Polynesia. When I was creating the coat and looking for a name he came to my mind because he was painting these exotic paintings during a time when almost nobody could imagine this other world. And also the turquoise of the coat reminded me of the turquoise sea around the French Polynesian islands. What do you think? Does it match? 🩵🩵🩵
Für immer einer der Favoriten: der Gauguin Mantel. Aber warum der Name? Ich werde es euch erklären: Ich benenne alle Mäntel mit Namen berühmter Künstler. Als ich diesen Mantel kreiert habe, kam mir gleich der französische Maler Paul Gauguin, der 1903 in französisch Polynesien starb in den Sinn. Die damals so exotischen Gemälde aus für die meisten Menschen unvorstellbaren fernen Ländern und das türkise Meer um die Polynesischen Inseln, das sich für mich im Türkis des Mantels widerspiegelte machten einfach Sinn und somit war der Name für diesen Mantel gefunden. Was sagt ihr, passt er?! 🩵🩵🩵

What a perfect 2nd Christmas Day! Ice cold, snow and pure sunshine. We all loved it!❄️🌞Especially that everyone stayed out of the water and didn’t swim after any ducks😅

The boys were wearing our thick Softshell coats Botero and Munch and were warm and toasty☃️

Was für ein perfekter zweiter Weihnachtstag! Eiskalt und mit Schnee und den ganzen Tag Sonnenschein. Wir haben es alle sehr genossen! Vorallem, dass sich niemand zu einem spontanen Bad entschieden hat 😅…hüstel🌞❄️❄️

Die Jungs haben unsere dicken und stretchy Softshell Mäntel Botero und Munch getragen und waren darunter angenehm warm und zufrieden.

Our new rain capes are perfect in this weather! ☔️Here's a little explanation of the two ways the cape can be worn.It mainly depends if your dog minds having elastic band around his hind legs or not. With the second option no elastics necessary!The boys have been wearing the cape with the thin fleece pullovers underneath to keep them warm since it's still a bitchilly, too.Which is your favorite way to wear it?! 💛☔️💛☔️ Hier mal eine kleine Erklärung, auf welche Arten unser neues Regencape getragen werden kann. Es kommt hierbei natürlich auch drauf an, ob euren Hund elastische Bänder um die Hinterläufe stören oder nicht.Deshalb kann man bei der zweiten Variante die Gummibänder einfach weglassen.Weil es noch recht kühl ist haben die Jungs heute übrigens die dünnen Fleecepullover noch drunter getragen.Beides cool, welche ist eure favorisierte Variante?! ☔️💛☔️💛

A brand exclusively for Dachshunds and their clothing needs...

...which are slightly different than those of other breeds due to their long backs and overall body shape as all Dachshund owners have probably already experienced.

So we dedicated our endeavors to create coats made of highest quality Italian fabrics, handmade in Europe and free of unneccessary and bothering objects like sleeves or pockets. We took great care to manufacture styles and cuts that complement the look and shape of your dachshunds. We have always made wearing comfort our top priority and are keeping a steady eye on quality control.

In Dachshund Couture coats your dog(s) will feel like wearing a second skin, that warms and protects them from rain and snow, instead of feeling some awkward object has been attached to them. Nevertheless, we did also not forget about you, the owners. Our coats are put on and off very easily and in no time.
