PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS INSIDE TODAY!! Make sure they have unlimited access to fresh water and cool spaces.

If you don't have cooling mats or cooling jackets, get some towels and soak them in water, ring them out, roll them and place them in the freezer and bam you have a homemade cooling mat for your dog.

If your anyone you know has artificial grass please be cautious before letting your dogs out.

Some may not be aware but artificial grass can get hot for dogs' feet.

So before letting them out, spray your yard with the hose to help cool down the area, don't worry about wet paw prints in your house as that is an easy fix, worry about your dogs first.

If you thought this weekend was a hot one then be prepared for today and Tuesday.

It may look like we are fighting off aliens, but really we are protecting our dogs from the sun and heat in our home. This only took a few minutes to do. Get some soapy water or glass cleaner and apply aluminium to your glass sliding doors. Best to apply in the evening when it's cooler to help ward off that morning heat.

Not many photos this week. We have been busy tending to our dogs to make sure they are all staying well hydrated and staying cool as much as possible during the recent heat wave. It's going to be even hotter in the next week.
Please remember our dogs can't take off their coats as we can. Walk them early morning or late at night. Even missing a walk if possible could be the safest option.

We highly suggest purchasing cooling jackets that can be bought on Amazon. They are fantastic for dogs of all sizes and are inexpensive.
