Breckenridge K9 Resort is located in the mountains east of Bakersfield in Central California. We offer a ranch like setting for all breeds of dogs, to experience a relaxing and beautiful environment for their stay. The well mannered dog is welcome to help with ranch chores. There are several yards available for dogs to join in the social activities or relax without having to participate for the le

ss social guests. All dogs are evaluated for temperament prior to being accepted for boarding. Grooming can be arranged by appointment prior to returning home. All dogs must be vaccinated to board or train at the Resort. Multiple dog discount and long term stay discount available. Please call for more information. Transport is also available for our guests. I have 30 years of dog training experience and a degree in animal science. We provide in home training for obedience and behavioral issues. We work with all breeds of dogs and all ages. References are available, upon request. Training sessions start at $70/ session. Travel fees to your location will apply. Call 661-867-2011 for further information and to schedule a training session. Words cannot express my gratitude for the outpouring of support during the borelfire 2024. The kindness and compassion of my clients and friends have touched my heart in ways they cannot imagine. The dogs under my care are oblivious to the chaos, but for me, it's a reminder that there is still hope and love in this world. I am so grateful for the generosity of those who have offered their time, resources, and support, and I am honored to have such exceptional individuals in my life. HAPPY HOLIDAYS, Everyone
This older senior dog, Zack, needs to find a soft landing. His owner passed away. He is neutered, housebroke and loves being with his person. I've been told he went horseback riding with his owner and went everywhere with him. He will just lay down at your feet in the house and likes to sleep in the bed. He ignores other dogs but will growl and snap at them if they pester him. Not sure about kids or cats but he's so sweet and quiet I bet he'd be fine. Will be very picky where he goes because it needs to be his last home. He's currently with a foster but their large female is not wanting Zack around. We will be getting him in to be evaluated by a vet and vaccinated within the next 2 weeks hopefully. Please call 661-867-2011, if interested. You will be evaluated and your home evaluated. For those that didn't get to see what the rains did to part of our roads in Caliente on Sunday. We are safe and roads clear to our facility. These photos are from other FB pages, I did not take them. It will be a long time before the Caliente Creek Road is drivable. Fire department was out surveying it today per neighbor. A couple of homes can't get in or out until the repairs happen.
