Making evolution with a young horse
Now I am sitting for the fourth time on 6 years old Azteca Olimpico. The most important work in the beginning of a relationship with a horse is the walk! You need hours, days, months in a walk to put all the horse like a body puzzle together, to coordinate the front with the back
This is my new and maybe last horse which I develop for myself in Oliveira Stables
It’s the six years old Azteke Olimpico (Lusitano father, and Quarter per Thoroughbred mother)
Here I am sitting on him for the second time only
Olimpico is a very powerful horse.
He was born in Oliveira Stables and of course started vertical
Let’s see what the future brings.
I am 65 now… so Olimpico can be my partner until I am 80 🙃
Correct Piaffe
Even if it’s not necessary for a good piaffe to give reins completely BUT it shows you the proof about Balance.
So if you think your Piaffe is very good: give reins completely and see what happens… what you think would happen if the number one or two or three in Dressage competition of the world would give reins completely in PIAFFE ?
In the comments are two training films with horses which are far away from piaffe but on the way to it … I explain a lot of details which count and have to be seen… and always remember every horse is so different from the other

In my next posts I go to put some films to speak about PIAFFE. If one day you understand REALLY how you develop a correct Piaffe and what must be your concerns… from this moment on you understand RIDING.
Who is able to create a correct Piaffe understands about Balance… Life without Balance is close to death and torture… the hard life of 100.000s of horses is the result of being out of Balance.
My only concern is as long as I live to create riders, riders who understand the creation of Balance… every moment.
At least they try very hard and the horses they can breathe and feel safe
Not a good piaffe!
Two things are lost in the world of riding: Piaffe and the using of the whip without ‼️beating the horse but helping❤️. It seems to be the biggest misunderstanding - how to create balance… but without balance no Piaffe!
Here we are working on the flexibility of the pelvis that’s why we rein back … to really show a Piaffe for a 10 it’s necessary an outstanding work… in the Olimpics there isn’t a piaffe better than maximum 6

Dressage competition most of all in Olympic Games should be the biggest promotion of equitation but UNFORTUNATELY is not

Good morning on a beautiful Sunday morning! I hope you enjoy life in general and being with your horses… even if you don’t understand most of the small films on my page you can be sure, everything is only for the good of the horse.

Be friendly, honest and positive
Don’t claim phrases which you cannot be sure about. It creates bad energy for you, doesn’t help nobody…
Be more calm and let people live who create a big change in this lost world of riding with absolutely no culture
Sooner or later the vertical wave is not stoppable anymore and it’s only for the good of the horse…

The work with young horses has to be individual !
Never use sidereins, never German reins… don’t put the horses head in a position which the public likes. Be brave and only create what the horses they need: BALANCE
